I love the series and had some of the movies on DVD. For $50 for the 10 movies u can't beat it!! For $5 each on blue ray!!

Love it, love it, love it!!! My favorite song is Heartbreak, but you cannot go wrong with any of these songs!!!! They are great for a road trip, cleaning the house, bubble bath time, or if you just need a good cry. It is not often that I give a cd a 5 star rating, but this one definitely deserves it!!! I really think that there are several songs on the cd that most people will like, ie something for everyone! Sarah has a beautiful, melodic voice. This is her first studio album of new songs in seven years, and I hope that she does not wait that long again for her next cd. She will be touring with Lilith Fair this summer in both the US and Canada. I did receive the cd at no charge, but that is not influencing my review.
What's great about it: The songs
What's not so great: Nothing!

The music on this cd is breathy, laid back, simple, and sultry, all in one. The song Hometime, when I play it, freaks out one of my cats! She starts crying, then jumps around. The song Kandi, is my favorite. The first time I heard it, I thought it was a good song. Then I watched the season finale of the tv show Bones, and I fell in love with it! At the end of the show, it showed Bones & Sealy saying goodbye for a year. They looked into the others eyes, and you can hear the song in the background. You think that they will finally kiss, but they do not. I hit the dvr several times just to listen to the song, then realized I had heard it before. It was in my stereo waiting to e reviewed! And yes, I did receive the cd at no cost to review. So when you listen to the cd, play it a few times, and give it a chance!
The band has been on the Ellen show, the song Hometime was in a Toyota commercial, and the song Kandi, is a #1 radio hit song! So I’m sure they will be around for a long time, and I look forward to hearing much more from them!
What's great about it: Kandi--chart topper!

Wow! This is her first CD but you cannot tell. To me, she sounds like an old favorite! Diane wrote the music herself, and she writes like a pro. The music is very relatable and some of the songs are haunting. Her music stays with you for a long time, but in a good way! There are several ways to describe her music-smooth, soulful, easy listening, raw, stripped, earthy, simple, and unique. You can really feel her energy, and feel what she was thinking when she wrote her lyrics. Among other things, this CD would be perfect for a day at the beach with a good book. My favorite song is Ariel-it just stays with me! Her sound is similar to Carly Simon, but a modern version. I foresee a long and successful music career for Diane!
What's great about it: All original, quality
What's not so great: Nothing

WOW! I love this cd! When I first saw the Yanni Voices special on PBS, I was blown away! Besides his music, he has 4 singers in his group now-hence the name Voices in the title. It adds so much to his music. These singers are some of the best I have ever heard, especially Chloe. If any of them competed in American Idol, they would blow away the competition and win hands down! Ender is one of two men singing on the cd. He has a passionate & beautifully exotic voice, and extremely good looking! Chloe is one of two women singing on the cd. She sounds just like the singer who sings on the little mermaid song, & has a very powerful voice. Leslie has a mellower & lighter sound, while Nathan is a classically trained tenor, and his voice really adds to the music! Four different voices that go well with each other! My favorite song is Mi Todo EresTu-Until the last Moment. Ender & Chloe sing this together, and it is so beautiful! Along with the cd is a dvd. It is the only part I was disappointed with. It has some singing on it along with a lot of talking. I was hoping for the PBS special on the DVD!

What's not so great: PBS special is not on DVD

To me, the name sounds like a big band from the 1940’s, or a cruise ship band. But they are far from it! Don’t let the name fool you! They sound like a pop-top 40 band. Two of the band members are in the tv show “Dancing With the Stars, and Derek Hough is the brother of Julianne Hough, another “Dancing with the Stars” dancer, and a very talented singer in her own right. They definitely are a couple of very musically talented siblings! I can see a number of these songs hitting the top 40 charts. The vocals sound, to me, like Justin Timberlake. Who I do not like, but I like these singers. And you can dance to the whole cd! This is one of the few cd’s lately that it is actually worth downloading the whole cd, not just one or two songs. My favorite song is Fall, which has an edge to it. Another song, Break Through, is right up there also! These two songs are going in my Ipod!
What's great about it: Original Songs'-Very Danceable!
What's not so great: Nothing

The best way to describe this cd is: LOVED IT!!! This cd released 11-18, and I see great things for this self described “operatic boy band”. This cd is NOT your typical boring opera music! I prefer heavy metal, yet I thoroughly enjoyed this cd! Their music is slow, rich, & full. But don’t let the word operatic throw you! The music is NOT boring! All of the songs but one is not in English, but you do not need to understand the language to enjoy it. The music is GREAT mood music, and I envision enjoying this cd over a candlelight dinner, as well as while I’m surfing the internet! The band will be touring the states in 2009, and I expect to hear a lot more from them! They are a creation of Simon Cowell from American Idol, and have been together since 2004. They have sold over 22 million cds, have performed to over 1.5 million people in 30 countries! They have also had 2 sold out world wide tours!

I was introduced to this CD as a rock group, and with the CD titled Devils & Angels, I thought it would be heavy metal. But it is not! This is their debut album for Warner Bros, and this CD is very enjoyable & very danceable! Their sound reminds me of Green Day. My favorite song is Built to Last the first on the CD. These songs have a great pop beat, & you can easily sing along with them. The songs are about relationships and real life, and are very relatable. My question is: Where have they been all my life?
What's great about it: Lyrics & tunes
What's not so great: None

Pretty & pleasant voice; a very strong voic

There are three songs that I really enjoy-I Stand, Gorgeous, and My Own Worst Enemy. I Stand is my favorite-cannot get it out of my mind... I am reminded of Shania Twain-different, but just as strong. The songs do grow on you. Perfect for taking a bath, dealing with a breakup, cleaning the house, or taking a walk! Total chick music, but very good chick music. She has a really pretty & pleasant voice; a very strong voice.
What's great about it: Great potential in her voice
What's not so great: Needs better songs

This is one of those cd's that you have to listen to over and over & over again! It has some great dance music, but the song Auld Lang Syne - Mairi Campbell/Dave Francis-has this haunting emotion that just follows you & you can't get it out of your mind-but in a good way! You will love this cd! Even my tigers love it! (And they are REALLY picky!)
What's great about it: get off your butt & dance
What's not so great: none
