This is the first live dead album I had ever heard. "Friend of the Devil" blew me away! The whole album is a great recording and would recommend this to anybody who loves live music.
What's great about it: entire album flows together

Looking for something new to add to my collection. Going through a "new group/alternative phase" right now. Picked this up out of the blue and have listened to it several times. Very good melodies, positive vibes; great album to put on as background music at a barbque or summer party!!

While I am a big fan of the Bon Scott era, I must confess that this is THE album from which all other Brian Johnson Albums are compared to (in by humble opinion...) This entire album rocks from the first ring of Hells Bells to the last note of Rock 'n Roll aint Noise Pollution. This is a grand slam; Two Thumbs up. You can't go wrong with this album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've listened to the album a few times and have come to the conclusion that while The Crowes have yet to replicate a "Southern Harmony P. II", this is still a good album to get. There's some straight forward rock with a little funk thrown in, as well a a couple songs that give nod to The Stones. There are also a couple mellow songs that add to the overall ambience. Overall, a definite plus - glad I bought the album!!
What's great about it: The "FreaknRoll experience continues.........

Just a great continuation from The Crowes. Songs all seem to flow together. Music's got a little funk and groove to it. Great album to put on for a weekend get together or to just kick back and relax to.
What's great about it: Nothin' fancy about this album; just straight forward freak n roll, baby!!

Bought this album for the song "Cinnamon Girl". Rest of album is decent, but nothin' real fancy. I wouldn't buy this if I weren't already a Neil Young fan. This is an album that needs to be listened to several times to really start enjoying the music on it.
What's great about it: Straight forward Neil
What's not so great: nothin' fancy (but then neither is Neil - he's a classic rocker)

Mellow album from Neil, and yet is an album that I'd put in my cd player for a party or if I'm cruin the interstate. This is the first album I bought from Neil and I'm very pleased with the entire sound, lyrics, etc..

I bought this album for the song "50,000 Unstoppable Watts". After listening to the whole album a couple of times, I'm sold on Clutch!! This particular album comes across to me as a decent mix of Black Sabbath and Deep Purple with a little bit of Tool thrown in. Straight forward had rock with nothin' fancy. A must have for any serious music fan (of hard rock, that is!!)
What's great about it: Rockin album all the way through
What's not so great: can't say that there's anything wrong

Truly an album that is a must have for any Metallica fan, as well as for those that want a classic '80's metal album. Absolutely no complaint on material, although I don't quite care for the quality of the sound recording. the trembles are a little too high and the bass (guitar, drums, etc) seems to be heard and not felt. Great collection of material from a band that has earned it's place in metal history
What's great about it: Album gets pretty insane on drums and guitar
What's not so great: actual sound quality of recording could be better
