I have had this product for a little over one year and I'm very unhappy with it. It just broke on me the other day so now I have to go shell out over 70 some dollars for a more quality product just like it.
It was hard to find a station that you could hear your music clearly, and it always came in quiet so my volume would always be turned up to the max. (so then you heard that annoying whirring noize when the volume is up too loud)I dealt with the static because it seemed to help when I put my antenna down on my car.
The only thing good about this product was it kept my ipod fully charged, but a couple days ago it just stopped taking a charge. I tried it in 3 different cars and it still took no charge. I also checked with my ipod, and it took a charge when I used my regular ipod charger. So obviously something is wrong with the product. For shelling out that kind of money I would expect something to last longer than a year.
