This is a good game for the series and has a pretty good story. Although, there are many problems. Ok, in my opinion, this is just Halo 2 with more guns. And by guns, I mean the exact same guns, just a lot worse than before. Most of the guns that are brought back from Halos 1 and 2 are just re-made into a lot less powerful guns. And the swords now clash together.(Goodbye sword horde) and the sniper has TERRIBLE kick back and you now have to lead your shots.(shoot where the enemy is GOING to be, not where they are at the given point in time) And they also in my opinion have worse maps as well. I mean sure there are a few good maps, but for the most part, there just the same ol' thing. Although, for what Halo 3 loses in multiplayer, it makes up for in campaign. This has a great story and a very good ending for the series. There are still bad things in here as well though. The game is probably around 6-8 hours, on LEGENDARY. And the game gets quite repetative. Even though the Scarabs now have crazy cool explosions, it gets kinda old for the 5th time. To wrap this all up, I just need to say that this is a very good game, just not good enough to buy the special or legendary editions.
