The new MacBook Pro is faster and more powerful than before, yet remarkably thinner and lighter.~ It has the brightest, most colorful display ever on a Mac notebook. And it features up to 10 hours of battery life.~ It~s a notebook built for the work you do every day. Ready to go anywhere a great idea takes you.

Excellent laptop, but not quite worth the pricetag

The performance on this Macbook is excellent, but the only thing I'm left wanting from it is the option to upgrade my storage, and at least one more USB port. I also feel like it would benefit from a third USB port on the right side of the chassis.
Considering that it retails for $1500, I would expect it to have more than just 256GB as the base model. After only two months of owning it, I'm already having worries about the 80+GB I have left. While external storage can provide a relief, it's unfortunate that despite spending a mortgage payment on a laptop I still have to buy extra add ons to give me what it should have stock. At the very least allow users to upgrade their own hard drives if they choose to.

Most overrated game ever

If you want to play a military shooter, go and pick up Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, or maybe Battlefield: Bad Company, but not this. This game was changed from what it once was to what it is now- which is an unrealistic and pathetic attempt at a realistic military video game. All of the guns are the same. Sniping is pointless because all of the sniper rifles usually take two shots to kill (even the .50 cal.). Every one online camps in random buildings and corners which forces you to play like they do- or else you'll win up with 2 kills and 10+ deaths. If you decide you want to play single
I purchased this game, then sold it within a week. It is the biggest bust of the decade, and possibly all time. The campaign is less than five hours- and really has no depth what so ever (much like the first).
Save yourself some time, money, and gray hairs. Buy something else.
Games that you should buy instead of this pathetic excuse for a game:
Assassin's Creed 1 (greatest hit) and 2
Uncharted 1 (greatest hit) and 2
Infamous
Prototype
MAG (when it releases in a few weeks)
Battlefield: Bad Company
SOCOM Confrontation
What's great about it: Easy trophies/achievements (360)
What's not so great: Multiplayer, Short campaign, Game balance, Lack of realism, It's more like Halo 3 than it is a military shooter
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

does the ps3 have to connect to the internet to work

You can play games and blu rays on the PS3 online or offline. There is no need for an internet connection.

The internet connection is only so you can download demos/betas of upcoming games, and themes for your home screen. You can also browse the internet using your PS3 if you have an internet connection.
