The only bad thing I have to say about this game is the time it takes to build up your character, it takes too long, it seems like an rpg. It's good to have the building up of a character but this is a golf game and most people don't want to even start their career mode until their stats are much better. Tons of equipment in the game but I actually want more, especially Nike and TW brand because come on, it's Tiger Woods. The animation options aren't as good as in previous installments but are still good. The courses look so incredible and Tiger looks more real than ever. The fist-pumps still make me do the same. The analog swinging is still the best around. The ability to save replays of up to a full round and play against others replays is a large improvement on a game that has never needed any improving. Always a must have for absolutely everybody adn every year another of this must have series must be purchased by absolutely everybody.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Takes too long to build up your character.

In the single player campaign the graphics are fine and the game plays well. The AI is very strong and ready to kill you at any given moment. The graphics are so bad in the multi-player portion of the game that you can't even really see the enemies, I don't remember graphics this bad on any system. Definitely not a buy, maybe a rent if you like Tom Clancy games which most everybody does.
What's great about it: Graphics are very nice in single player, strong AI.
What's not so great: Horrible graphics in multi-player.

Other than Blazing Angels I would have to say this game is the best at taking advantage of the six-axis control. The controls don't take much time to get used to but your first race will likely be very tough and full of crashes. A plethora of vehicles to choose from but the loading time in choosing a vehicle is beyond horrible. The tracks are excellent. The music suits the game almost as well as Jaws or Star Wars. Overall a definite must have for all PS3 owners. The 2nd in the series is coming soon but to me it doesn't look as good as this one.
What's great about it: Great tracks, perfect music for the game, lots of vehicles, great use of the six-axis control.
What's not so great: Finding your favourite tracks is hard unless you know the name of them, slow loading when choosing vehicles.

First the bad: The create-a-player options are just not enough and the commentary is the same thing over and over. The good: The pitching is very well done and may be the best ever, they did a great job with making the game feel real, the stadiums are beautiful, the stats are kept very nicely but aren't mentioned in the in-game commentary so much. The menus are well designed for the most part but somethings aren't so easy to find even if you've viewed them many times. Being able to use music saved to your hard drive in the in-game jukebox is a nice addition. Overall a great game but not as good as the All Star Baseball series for the PS2.
What's great about it: Pitching may be the best yet, feels very realistic, stadiums are gorgeous, stats kept well.......
What's not so great: Need more create-a-player options, commentary very repetitive.

May be the best game ever, the controls are simple, the graphics are perfect for the setting, the story is phenomenal, the enemies are similar to other games but brand new at the same time, the game can be played through completely co-op and is just as fun every time you replay it, the online play is fast paced, the guns are one of a kind and the grenades are the best part of this extraordinary game. Honestly, there are so many different grenades and guns that make the game so much different every time you play unless you're someone that just sticks to one weapon but even still you won't be able to put this game down. This and the Red Faction series are easily the best shooting games and some of the best games of all time. I can't wait for Resistance 2, the trailer looks incredible and Nathan Hale is back.
What's great about it: Everything, especially the grenades and co-op play.

I was never a fan of the GTA series but this one caught my eye with the online play as I always thought that was the one thing that could get me interested in the series but even that in the end wasn't enough. This game has so many issues including the lack of customization, even with the brightness game option turned all the way up I still can't read the display on the in-game cell phone unless I turn my tv brightness up as well, lack of vehicles (the series has been going for some time now so you would think the vehicles would be spectacular although the helicopter is a nice addition) and perhaps my biggest issue with this abomination is that the game isn't formatted to fit all screens and doesn't have a display option to change it. Overall I would still recommend it to a friend becuase a lot of people love this series but I would likely advise them to hold off for Saints Row 2.
What's great about it: 16 player online and that's about it.
What's not so great: Repetitive series, hard to see, need more vehicles.......
