I was just about to give up on Sirius due to the lack of strength by the FM transmitter, then I discovered the direct audio relay. This thing is awesome. Before I would have to turn off my sirius and rely on either "traditional" radio, or CD's whenever I was within 30 miles of DC. Now my Sirius rocks wherever I go.
The install was very easy, although my Sirius power plug broke when I disassembled the dash. But this just gave me a reason to revamp my entire install and make all of my wires hidden, just required a trip to the hardware store for some splicing material and an inline fuse holder.
Now my reception is crystal clear and I've regained my power plug. One warning though, if you've got a Chrysler you're going to be on the hook for about another $30 for adapters.
