Having played all the previous Halo games, this was a must for me. I had been truly curious about what type of story they have in this prequel and also to check out new multiplayer modes. So I have completed the story once and completed first 4 or 5 ranks in multiplayer and here is what I think.
PROS.
AMAZING GRAPHICS IMPROVEMENT: I remember seeing Halo 3 for the first time and my jaws literally dropped; however, that was because we went from Xbox to Xbox 360, a newer more powerful machine. Afterwards, when ODST was released, there was a slight graphical improvement, but now if you compare Halo to Halo Reach, you can see there is clearly a Major difference. Things look so much nicer, sharper. The different colors are very easily distinguishable from each other and most importantly, each character (specially their armor) and object is animated to the very last detail. JUST GORGEOUS.
ARMOR UPGRADE: My second favorite thing in Halo. Completing story and competing online gives you credit and you can use this credit to buy armor, some equipments, logos and whatnot. This truly adds RPG element to the game. Promotes you to play more. Very important improvement.
PERKS: I am not sure what they call it, but I will refer to them as perks. Basically, now your character, can either run fast, fly with a jetpack, have healing shield bubble, can create a decoy of himself or can create impenetrable shield around his body. I loved the jetpack and decoy perks. Just adds a whole new dimension to the play. Love how you can fly over a player and shoot. Love how you can throw your decoy and attract bloodthirsty crowd to attack it from their hideout and just get them big time.
MULTIPLAYER: To me this is the strongest aspect of all the Halo games. Each time they come up with something that will keep players playing multiplayer for ages. This time around you can have many of the previous modes (Equivalent to deathmatch, grab skull and such) , but on top of it you also have new modes such as Infection. Basically, you either have to defend yourself from other team that has vampire like ability (and a freaking awesome plasma sword), if you can't you become one of them. Pretty amusing. There are also other modes that will keep you engaged for a long time.
DECENT AND SORROWFUL STORY: So Halo 1 starts out as Master Chief being the LAST SPARTAN alive. Don't want to spoil much, but Reach story goes into demise of Spartans and they have done pretty good job portraying it.
NEW WEAPONS: There not that many new weapons, but once you get to use are pretty awesome. Don't want to spoil much.
CONS.
VERY SHORT CAMPAIGN: This was huge just huge disappointment for me. I was hoping since this is the last game in the series that have a long campaign for players like me who appreciate Single Player Campaign. However, at most it was 8 hours long. Honestly, I found it to be quite ridiculous. They still have all the awesome vehicles and what not in the campaign, but for most part it is just killing hordes and hordes of enemies.
STILL NO DUAL WEILDING: What the hell? Why did they take it out since Halo ODST. I loved duel wielding weapons and 1-2 combos from needler and charge gun. Why Bungie? Why?
VERY FEW NEW WEAPONS: Yeah I was expecting more new weapons than what they provided in the game. A bit disappointed.
CONCLUSION:
So if you are someone who really dig Multiplayer and not care much about single player that much ADD A STAR to my score, if you are someone who love mainly single player campaign and don't play multiplayer that much REMOVE A STAR. While I personally do wish they would have longer single player campaign, all and all I am happy I bought Halo Reach. Multiplayer truly makes it long lasting experience.
What's great about it: Multiplayer, graphics, gameplay

Zelda being one of the best Nintendo franchises (if not the best), this was a must play game for me. After finishing story and optional quests (50 PLUS HOURS), here is what I think.
PROS.
PLENTY OF DUNGEONS: Just like previous Zelda games, this consists of a big world map and then plenty of dungeons in the world map. As the story progress, you will have access to different dungeons and as you make your way through different dungeons, you will encounter different enemies, obtain different items and finally fight a major boss. However, things are not as repetitive as it sounds. The story does very good job motivating you why you should go through each dungeon, plus, between the dungeon you are required to and also you have an option to do many different things (see below for more details)
WOLF/HUMAN GAMEPLAY: So as you may know, in this game you can turn into a wolf (more like you are forcefully turned into this creature in the beginning). To progress through the story (and to get access to different dungeons), you are required to do perform tasks at both human and a wolf. In the beginning of the game, this may feel a bit redundant; however, as you go forward (say about finishing first three dungeons), this will actually become fun. Both being human and wolf has their own advantages for both in combat and accessing different areas and this game will challenge you to successfully use your abilities both as wolf and human to progress through the game.
WEAPONS AND GADGETS: As many of you may know, Zelda games are famous for weapons and gadgets you get to use. This game is no exception. As you progress through the story, especially when you go to different dungeons, you will get access to different gadgets. Boy these gadgets are fun to use. Creative use of gadgets is required to solve many puzzles in many dungeons, beat bosses and get secret treasures.
BOSSES: There are plenty of sweet bosses in this game. As mentioned above, each dungeon will contain one major boss. Some dungeons have two major bosses. On top of them, there are also bosses outside of dungeon gameplay. So if you are like me and enjoy beating bosses in games, then you will love this game. Also as mentioned above, YOU WILL HAVE TO use your gadgets and human/wolf ability creatively to overcome these bosses. While earlier bosses may seem pushover, later bosses are more fun.
VARIETY IN GAMEPLAY AND MINIGAMES: As mentioned above, you will be playing both as human and wolf. On top of that the story and side quests will also introduce you to different type of gameplay, such as horse riding, kayaking, swimming over and underwater, riding big birds, riding boars (slightly different than riding boars). Honestly, I love games that provide you with so many different types of experiences.
SWORD AND SHIELD PLAY WITH WII MOTE: While not perfect, different moves you can do with Wii mote for using sword and shield work 90% of the time. Some moves will feel cooler than the other.
LOTS AND LOTS OF SECRET ITEMS: There are hundreds and hundreds of hidden items throughout the game, some more useful than others of course. If you are a completionist, you will love hunting for these hidden treasures. And as mentioned above, creative use of gadgets truly makes this treasure hunting experience enjoyable.
STORY: The game has a decent story with some what of a suspense to it. Can't describe much without spoiling it.
CONS.
FISHING WITH WII MOTE: Dear lord, THIS IS SO ANNOYING. To those who actually fish may find it fun, but I don't fish and I don't find it fun. Unfortunately, there are two places in the story where you are required to fish and I find that experience torturing and horrible. If you want to get all the secret items, you will have to fish more.
WII VERSION UPDATE: As you may know this game was originally created for gamecube. It was pretty sweet how they made sword and shield control with wii mote, but I wish they had done more in terms of improving graphics. While wii is not known for its graphics, some games like Metroid Other M and Super Mario Galaxy look pretty awesome on it. So if they wanted, they certainly could have done better job.
CONCLUSION
So other than fishing and graphics, this was pretty much a perfect game for me. People who like action adventure, THIS GAME IS A MUST.
What's great about it: gadgets you get to use, bosses, 20-50hrs long

Ninja Theory, the creator of Heavenly Sword, are the minds behind Enslaved. Since I liked Heavenly Sword for the most part, thought why not give this one a shot. At least the trailers looked good. After finishing the game once and replaying few chapters, here is my impression.
PROS.
ADORABLE CHARACTER DESIGN: One thing Ninja Theory knows how to do is character design. The main characters (while not many), are really beautifully designed. While the facial expressions of characters are not as remarkable as say in top notch games such as Uncharted 2, they are still very good. Other than character's aesthetic looks, the Ninja Theory has also done wonderful job portraying character personalities. Little quibbles and exchange of emotions between main characters Trip and Monkey make the story very touchy and enjoyable. You have to play it to feel it.
GORGEOUS LEVELS AND WONDERFUL GRAPHICS: Again not as gorgeous as you may see in games like Uncharted 2 or God of War 3 nevertheless they are some of the most stunning graphics you see in games these days. The game is set in post apocalyptic setting; however, Enslaved has much different view of post apocalyptic settings than games such as Fallout 3 or Rage. While surroundings are barren and filled with enemies, they still have greenery and majesty to them. Each level (chapter) has different types of settings. This variety truly prevents the experience from being repetitive.
TACTICAL BATTLES: Compare to their previous game, the Heavenly Sword, the battles are more tactical. Pure button mashing will easily get you killed on normal or higher difficulty mode while proper use of dodge, defend and combo hits will give you edge over the enemies. Thinking and executing commands will feel very rewarding and keep you engaged in the gameplay.
ACROBATS AND STRATEGIC GAMEPLAY: In this game to get through a level, you will have to travel from one structure to another. For that you will mainly utilize Monkey character who can acrobatically jump from wall to wall, climb upward etc. However, you will also have to make sure that you help out the side character Trip by making a way for her, assisting her to reach high places by throwing her etc. (kind of like Prince of Persia 2000 game and Uncharted 2). The side character Trip is not as useless as she sounds though. She will create decoy for you so you can safely go past machine guns, upgrade your weapons and even heal you. So honestly it is pretty fun controlling both characters.
ENGAGING STORY AND UNIQUE ENDING: This is what I loved the most about this game. Almost every action you perform has something to do with the story. While a lot a games these days make the gameplay repetitive by mindlessly forcing you to perform the same actions repetitively, in this game there is a clear story related motive behind each of the objective. Also, the ending is mysterious, unique and deep.
UPGRADABLES: You can upgrade your moves, weapon, defense etc. Doing so will give you an edge in combat and make the battles more enjoyable. Love how majority of games are adding RPG element to them. This is one of the few things that make this game somewhat replayable, unfortunately.
CONS.
SHORT GAME AND LITTLE OR NO REPLAYABILITY: The game lasted me about 13 hours, but I am one of the people who will walk to each and every corner of a map during the very first gameplay to get majority of collectibles, so it always takes me longer than average player to get through the game. Unfortunately, once you finish the game there is not much to do. The game does give you option to play your favorite chapters (so you don't have to play the whole game again), but honestly that's only good for unlocking particular achievements.
RIGID CONTROLS: While they work well for most part, compare to games like Prince of Persia, jumping wall to wall and climbing wall controls feel quite rigid. You have to wait few milliseconds before you tap the button again jump from wall to wall smoothly. Wish it were as fluid as Prince of Persia games. Same thing with combat, if you have played Heavenly Sword and Devil May Cry 3, the difference is the same. Action is not as smooth as in games like Devil May Cry 3. This is particularly concerning to me as the Ninja Theory is not directing Devil May Cry reboot. Hope they fix these controls by then.
LACK OF VARIETY IN ENEMIES AND BOSSES: While they do have few different types of enemies and bosses, majority of small fry enemies look the same and major bosses simply reappear in later levels. Disappointed.
CONCLUSION: All and all it is a pretty good game, but I truly wish it were a bit longer. Nevertheless, I truly think fans of games like Prince of Persia (2000) and Uncharted 2 should at least give it a rent. Chances are you will like it.

I loved Prince of Persia Trilogy on (PS2/Xbox) and while Prince of Persia (PS3/360) was not as great of a game, I still liked it. This game, the way it looked, I didn't have much expectations, but I was surprised. Here is why.
PROS.
AWESOME SOT LIKE GAMEPLAY: This game goes back to the roots of Prince of Persia. Sands of Time trilogy (SOT) wowed me with running on the wall, jumping from ledge to ledge and reversing time type of gameplay mechanics. In this game they go back to the roots and give you more of that gameplay.
NEW MAGICAL AND ACROBATIC ABILITIES: In addition to what mentioned above you get some new moves and magical abilities. Most notable of them all is to freeze water for given amount of time. Developers have wonderfully make use of this ability give this game a novel feeling. Freezing and unfreezing water with proper timing makes it very important to move from one part of the palace to another (Very difficult to explain in words, have to see the gameplay to understand it). In addition to freezing water you also have other unique abilities such as swift jumps, crow hooks and one VERY UNIQUE one. But I don't want to spoil much here.
MASSES AND VARIETY ENEMIES: In this game they have made good use of next gen console processor power in enemy battles. Unlike previous Prince of Persia games where you had 5 or 8 enemies at most, in this one you will have 15-20 enemies (if not more) at the same time. While initial enemies will look the same, as you progress in the game, variety of enemies will appear that will require you to change your strategy in defeating them.
POWERS AND SWORD UPGRADES: Defeating enemies will give you orbs and these orbs can be used to upgrade your combat and magical powers. You can make your attack stronger, life bar larger, have fire walk power, ice sword power, stone armor power, wind explosion power or you can increase the time to reverse time. Each one of these can be upgraded up to 4 levels. Personally I loved the RPG element they added to this game.
DECENT STORY: Not much to describe here. Voice actors are good and the game has decent story. Don't want to spoil too much.
LOTS OF TRAPS: To many of you, this may belong in cons section, but I personally like challenges. In addition to acrobatic gameplay, there are tons of traps in the game that requires you to successfully guide prince through them. To me this was very challenging but the fun part of the game.
CHALLENGE ROOMS: After you beat the campaigns, you can attempt challenge rooms to test your skills. While there are not that many of them, they are better than nothing.
CONS.
FEELING OF CHEAPNESS: I enjoyed the game, but when I played it, I just can't help but to feel that this game was either made on low budget or shortage of time. Unlike previous prince of Persia games where artwork was the strength of the game, this game didn't carry out the legacy. Sure things look great in 720p resolution, but in terms of artstyle and graphics, it look similar to PS2/Xbox games.
BOSSES: There are bosses in this game but honestly they are not impressive. I love the game with strong bosses, especially those who require unique strategies to beat. Unfortunately, the bosses in this game are not much fun and can be beaten using mostly the same strategies.
SANDS OF TIME TRILOGY CONNECTION: According to developers, this game takes place between first two games of SOT trilogy. So I was really hoping they have some information on DHAKA or some sort of connection to him. But to best of my knowledge, they didn't. So somewhat disappointed.
CONCLUSION:
Honestly, if they had put some more money into this game and had not pressured the artists to release it along with Prince of Persia the Movie, I think this would be a five star game. Nevertheless, I loved it. I think if you are Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Trilogy fan, then you should definitely give this a shot, especially now that it is selling so cheap. Chances are you will enjoy it.

A lot of people have been bashing this game saying it is a Gears of War clone. To set things straight, it was Shinji Mikami, director of Vanquish and Resident Evil 4, established third person shooter genre. While Gears of War are great games, but Vanquish is a different type of game in league of its own. After finishing the story on HARD difficulty and attempting couple of challenge rooms (you unlock by finishing campaign chapters), here is what I thought.
****************PROS*****************
REVOLUTIONARY ACTION-PACKED GAMEPLAY: While majority of people will confuse this game with Gears clone, this game promotes you to do exactly the opposite of what is required in Gears. Gears of War promotes and rewards you cover and shoot type of gameplay. Now if you try really hard, you can probably get through this game using cover and shoot strategy, but chances are by staying in cover long enough, you will probably gate killed by either melee attacks of agile enemies, by mega lazer that bosses fire or simply by homing missiles. To get an edge over the enemies in this game, you have to be daring. You have to do crazy actions such as use your boosters, kick them on the face while jumping in the air, while in air slow down time and shoot the enemies around you. COOL, RIGHT? Honestly, the gameplay, rocket boosters, crazy melees, freeze time and shoot are BEST PART OF THIS GAME.
UPGRADE REWARD SYSTEM: Just like fasted pace gameplay, this is also something new and unique in this game. All of the weapons you get are upgradable. But to upgrade them you have to be strategic. There are two ways you will find upgrades for the weapons. One is simply by destroying enemies (or rather destroying multiple enemies in stylish manner). Other is by not using that weapon and them picking up one more of that weapon from destroyed enemies or from crate supplies which are found like every 7-10 minutes. This prevents you from overusing one weapon and exploring different weapons found in the game. Also, reckless shooting or staying in cover for too long will get you killed. If you get killed enough times (by playing recklessly), your weapons will be downgraded.
JOYS OF EXPERIMENTATION: So on one hand you have your abilities and on other hand you have at least 8 different types of weapons (maximally 4 at a time). The gameplay truly encourages you to experiment with them. I.e. use assult rifle and take out legs of big robot while you are in cover, jump out of the cover and slow down time, quickly take out the hands of the robot, boost your thrusters get close to the robot and finally melee its head off. LOVE IT JUST FREAKING LOVE IT.
YOUR SUIT, WEAPONS, ENVIRONMENTS AND ART: To me this is the coolest thing in this game. Your suit and weapons are created from "nucleus". So you will see each time the character relaxes, the helmet will be half gone and when you change weapons, one weapon will turn into another. Words simply can't describe it. Furthermore, depiction of near robotic future of America and designs of Marines and their commander Burns (with all the armor and heavy guns) is also pretty technical and to the details. I like it a lot.
GREAT ENEMY A.I.: I loved the A.I. in this game. YOU CAN'T HIDE. The enemies and bosses will come and get you. Even the weakest enemies have deadliest melee attacks. While I played it on hard mode, even on normal mode, enemies can kill you with ONE HIT KILL. Don't worry though. This is no Demons Soul. There are frequent checkpoints in the game. And the opposite is also true. You can kill many of the enemies with one hit kill assuming you do things the right way. Even the bosses you may find difficult at first have weaknesses. You just have to experiment enough and find out how. Love how this game push you to try new things.
CHALLENGING BOSSES: There 6-8 different types of bosses (not including few main bosses) in the game that you may encounter more than one time. Some of these bosses are very unique. While you can shoot them over and over again and kill them, it will take long and chances are some of these bosses will kill you with one hit kill. To beat these bosses you will truly have to master your skills (dodging, thrusting, slowing time etc.) Again love how this game pushes you to experiment and be tactical.
DECENT STORY: While it is not one of the best, the story still makes sense and has certain degree of suspense and mystery to it. English voice acting, dialogues and character facial expressions are pretty good. I won't spoil the story, but if you follow politics (more importantly IF YOU ARE REPUBLICAN), you will enjoy the depiction of Hilary Clinton look a like depiction of US president.
CHALLENGE ROOMS: After finishing each chapter of the game, you will unlock Challenge rooms (equivalent to Horde Mode in other games). As stated above, you have lots of abilities and weapons and campaign is rather fast. So challenge rooms are one place you can experiment as much as you want with your weapons and abilities, create new moves and punish enemies. Now don't get me wrong that is not the only purpose of Challenge rooms. As their name states, it will be a true "challenge" to finish these challenge room levels as you will have one after another hordes of enemies attacking you from all the direction. These challenge room truly adds to the replayability of the game.
***************CONS.******************
RELATIVELY SHORT CAMPAIGN AND NO MULTIPLAYER: I know these days most games are 8-10hrs long, but I wish the campaign was longer. While multiplayer and co-op is not a requirement for this type of games, I truly wish it had it. It feels like one of the games that is designed for co-op. Never the less, it has challenge rooms, so it does add longetivity of the game. Plus, if you get hold of the action, I know you will play it more than once.
UNIQUE MELEE: Melee attacks in this game are SUPER AWESOME. Only drawback is they are quite tactical. Using them will deal great damage to enemies, but also leave you vulnerable to enemy attack if you don't kill them off with melee or melee weapon combo. I truly wish you don't have to be so tactical when using melee and could use it as much as you want.
*********CONCLUSION****************** This is a very unique game and certainly not a clone of Gears of War (which is also a great game). If you like crazy fast-paced action mixed with futuristic weapons this is a game for you. Any body who is a fan of action adventure and shooter games such as Resident Evil 4, Gears of War and even Devil May Cry should definitely this a try. THIS GAME IS UNLIKE ANYTHING OTHER YOU HAVE PLAYED. Trust me on that.
What's great about it: fast paced gameplay, futuristic setting, weapons, slow mo mode

I feel so very sorry for this game. Why? Because this is a great game, people just don't know about it. Even I didn't know about it until I played 60 min demo through Playstation Network (also available on 360). In demo they allow you to play through a whole "dungeon" (a huge level). Once I played it, I liked it so much that I had to play the whole game. Now that I have finished the game once, here is what I think about it.
Pros.
CREATIVELY DESIGNED WORLD: The thing that I liked the most about this game is it consists of 6 huge "dungeons" (huge stages like in Zelda games) connected with by a even bigger open world. Each of these dungeons is very creatively designed with plenty of puzzles (don't worry not boring ones). They can very from greenery filled open fields, destroyed towns, beautiful swamps, gothic towers, magma caves, deserts and more. Such variety in stages really encourages you to explore more and move forward in the game so you can unlock more stages. Just loved it.
TONS OF WEAPONS: You start out with just a sword, but then you can purchase, find and unlock A LOT MORE short, mid and long rage weapons as you progress in the game (such as deadly scythe, gauntlet, revolver etc.). Furthermore, anything you see lying on the ground can also be used as weapon (Cars, pipe etc.). Also, certain weapons such as shuriken can target multiple enemies and objects. Their creative use is a MUST to progress through the game. All of these weapons can be leveled up and customized (by use or purchase) which adds a great RPG element to this game.
INTRIGUING GADGETS: Other than weapons you will also obtain variety of gadgets in this game. Some of these gadgets are horn, grapple chain and a HORSE (YES THERE IS HORSE RIDE IN THIS GAME). There are some cooler gadgets that are unlocked toward end. Really don't want to spoil it for you, but if you want a hint look at the title of this review. Creative use of gadget is required to progress through the game.
INTIMIDATING BOSSES: Each dungeon has a mini bosses and when you get through the whole dungeon, you are presented with very imaginatively designed MAJOR BOSS. Let me tell you one thing. These bosses are no push over. Beating them takes combination of skills and creative thinking. I personally enjoyed battle with each of them (almost all of them, except one).
DIVERSITY IN ENEMIES: A lot of heck and slash these days have the same looking enemies from the beginning to the end. Fortunately, this game offers variety of different enemies. When I speak diversity, I am not taking about size, shape and color, but also strategy required to beat them. If you just go around button mashing, you won't go anywhere. A lot of these enemies require you to dodge, block and perform certain stunts (for example light your shuriken with fire and then hit them with it) to critically hit them.
FANTASY NOVEL LIKE STORY: While all may not enjoy it, this game has a deep, unique and suspenseful novel like story. You have angles, demons, guardians and what not. I would describe more, but don't want to spoil it for you.
AWESOME VOICE ACTING: While the central character is a bit dry (for a reason), all the others have done wonderful job (especially a character that is your colleague). I don't know the particular names, but some Hollywood grade actors are doing voice acting, so you won't be disappointed in this area.
CONS:
FEELS LOW BUDGET AT POINTS: While the most of the game looks gorgeous because it is competing with games such as God of War 3, at points it will feel cheap. However, don't get me wrong, for most part it will amaze you.
DIAPPOINTED BY FINAL BOSS: While all the other bosses are SPECTACULAR, the final boss was somewhat disappointing. I truly can't tell you much without spoiling.
GOOD STUFF IN THE END: I am talking about gadgets. Some of the best gadgets are given to you in the very end. I truly wish I could have had them earlier.
CONCLUSION:
Contrary to minor cons, this game has a lot to offer as it takes the best games out of popular games such as Zelda, Devil May Cry, God of War and Portal (YES PORTAL). I totally thought it was worth the price so at very least you should at least give it a try.
What's great about it: Open world, gadgets, weapons, bosses

Before I played Mass Effect, I absolutely had no idea what it was all about. I played Mass Effect 1 and contrary to some glitches and tedious gameplay elements, IT LITERALLY BLEW MY MIND. So to me Mass Effect 2 was a MUST. I have played it twice now and here is what I think.
PROS.
WELL DESIGNED CHOICE/KARMA GAMEPLAY: Just like Mass Effect 1, this game has wonderful cause-effect gameplay. Throughout the games you will have to make many choices and this choices will have major effect on your character development and on the story. Depending on your choices your character can be renegade, paragon or someone in between. Unlike Mass Effect 1, these choices will many times be imposed upon you. In other words, you will just be exploring the open world and all of the sudden, the main story interrupts you and will make you make difficult decisions. To me, this was amazing. This on the spot make choice plot makes the story so much more real, relevant and impactive. Furthermore, other than dialogue, even during the cutscenes you can perform paragon/renegade type of action. This experience was simply mind-blowing to me.
BETTER RUNNING GAMEPLAY AND SMOOTH CRISPY CLEAR GRAPHICS: To me Mass Effect 1 was great, but it had a bit choppy graphics and glitch gameplay. They have fixed it up big times in Mass Effect 2. (Don't get me wrong there are still glitches see CONS section). When I first saw the Mass Effect 2 footage in HD on my 360, my eyes simply couldn't believe it. Trust me, you will have no complain here in this department.
AWESOME COMBAT MECHANICS: Compared to 1, they greatly improved combat system in this game. It feels smoother, you can perform different moves easier and most importantly, combination you can use with your team/allies is just unbelievable. You have more classes to choose from compared to first and I just LOVED VANGUARD AND SENTINEL CLASSES. You will love the powers you will get to use. Oh did I mention, you can also choose from your allies special powers.
PLENTY OF ALLIES AND LOYALTY MISSIONS: There are so many different allies you can acquire and choose from in this game. Acquiring each ally is a mission. Plus, if you want your ally to become loyal to you, there will be a separate mission. Once they become loyal, you can unlock their special power and it will also have a huge impact on the story. Now the question is can you make everyone loyal to you? I will just let you find out. While it is possible, unless you make the right choices, it will be difficult.
NEW WEAPONS AND POWERS: Loved the VANGUARD and SENTINEL class provided biotic and tech powers. Also, some of the heavy weapons were pretty cool. Also liked how you could upgrade your weapons and powers by research and alloy discoveries.
PRETTY GOOD STORY: Not as good as the first one, but this game still does have a pretty good story. While the creators have done a wonderful job with stories for each ally character, the central story is somewhat straightforward. However, they are also setting this game for a sequel (not a spoiler, it has been known for ages now), so that might be the reason the story is the way it is (really don't want to spoil it for you).
OPEN WORLD GAMEPLAY: Just like first one you are free to explore galaxy and go where ever you want to go, do what ever you want to do first. Story will impose upon you as stated before, but again it will only make the experience more real. I love the way they have hidden the missions in open world exploration.
BETTER ACHIEVEMENTS: Mass Effect 1 achievement kinda force you to do things you may not want to do (for example keep the same ally through out the game, become a perfect paragon or renegade, etc.). In this game, the way achievement system is set up, it will make you explore more and experiment more.
VARIETY IN BOSSES AND ENEMIES: Loved how most of the missions include a boss. While few of them are pushovers, most of them will provide you with decent challenge. Furthermore, compared to Mass Effect 1, there is greater variety of enemies and eliminating them will require you to different strategies and powers. This will prevent the gameplay from being redundant.
FREE DLCs: There are some awesome free downloadable content for this game. Some of them should have been released with the game (see cons.)
CONS.
LESS EXPLORATION: There are a lot of story based mission and ally based loyalty missions; however, there are amazingly few side missions. (Don't get me wrong, the game will still take a while finish. My first finish was 45 hrs when I decided to explore everything). And these side missions are ridiculously short and straight forward.
NO VEHICLE: What the hell? After you download a DLC, there are four or five vehicle based missions; however, the game doesn't have vehicle based exploration. I agree climbing rocks and hills with space vehicle was torturous at times in Mass Effect 1, but still there were many planets where it was fun. Why remove that?
DIMINISHED RPG ELEMENT: Mass Effect 1 kinda had convoluted level up system(if you do manually) and tedious weapon upgrade/achieve system. They improved that in Mass Effect 2 by making it extremely simple. Now you no longer have much choices when it comes to guns. Your choice of power can be maxed in no time (you will still have hard time maxing multiple powers/traits). And experience is mainly give at the end of the mission vs experience you gained by doing each and every single action/ killing each and every enemy in Mass Effect 1. The system did feel a bit more organized and easy to use, but I kinda miss Mass Effect 1 RPG element.
So contrary to minor issues I mentioned in CONS., they have GREATLY IMPROVED THE GAME. If you liked Mass Effect 1, if you like RPG, if you like space/sci fy genre, YOU MUST NOT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE. You will love it.
What's great about it: great action, great missions, better graphics
What's not so great: no vehicle like the first game.

This game is perfect i played the Beta and it was fun I've seen the forge trailer and how Bungie explains the forge part and it sounded pretty easy and fun because you can make objects float change color and make them go in the mountain or go inside other objects.......What i think you people should do is wait until the game is cheaper or if you want the special edition ones get it then.I would rather you all get the game itself.Overall this game is the best ,some people say there is a level like Star wars Battlefront the game.Who knows...
