Fantastic Blu-Ray, horrendous movie

From the opening intro screen you know that this disc means business for your stereo system. Great surround, great bass, and perfect dialogue balance. The movie is just not very good, but the picture quality, and great effects make it bearable. 2.5 hours was about 45 minutes too much.
What's great about it: Picture and sound quality
What's not so great: 2.5 hours? Really?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Close, but not perfect

I use primarily for movies in HT and for the most part it is great in a Bruckheimer/Bay flick. But when you get into a dialogue heavy movie it will turn off and on as needed. This will lose some of the bass at the onset of the notes, and then it comes in too abruptly. Everything else is good to great about it, but this one drawback can be very annoying.
What's great about it: The price and the BOOM
What's not so great: Auto shut off during slow periods of activity
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
