This game has never been the same since it's N64 days. It is now an arcade style race to be the first one to use your special move which pretty much guarantees you a win. Minimal amount of available moves so plan on using the same ones over and over again. A lot of the wrestlers moves look the same like they tweaked them a tiny bit for each wrestler. You basically push the right stick in one of the four directions to perform one of the four grappling moves. Repeat this until your meter is full so you can perform your wrestlers' special move and then either pin your opponent or make him submit. It does have decent graphics and sound and a fair amount of wrestlers. Rent only
What's great about it: Graphics, sound, commentating, # of wrestlers

I must say that prior to watching this film I heard primarily negative reviews in the tabloids but these people must have gone in with pre-meditated expectations. I simply had none and could not pull away from the screen and neither could my wife who jumped in halfway through after waking up from a nap. The photography is intensely vivid especially during the scenes depicting the shear brutality of a primitive culture and it is obvious the intention was to depict a REALISTIC interpretation of the Mayan civilization and not deliver a watered-down portrayal for the sake of queasy stomached movie goers. The gore in this movie is equal or greater than "Passion of the Christ". If on screen blood is too much for you stick to the PG-13 section. The blue-ray disc shines in bringing the breathtaking scenery and backdrops to your screen as well as delivers decent sound. I would say excellent sound but this isn't exactly a special effects whirlwind. Some cheesy CG in this film though.
What's great about it: Highly interesting perspective of a brutal culture.
