If you still think COD is a fresh idea...

I really, really wanted to love this game. I bought it, and played it for several hours. Mostly online. Its... old. I played so much COD when it first came out. I did the levels / achievements / the collectables / the guns / prestiege points / etc. Well if you haven't had enough of it... It's back. But to be honest, this really feels like a mulitplayer map upgrade for the old COD. It's not worth a full $60. Exactly the same old style of play, other than it takes less bullets now to kill someone in the game. Average life span in multiplayer is less than a few seconds. When you get your barings and run around a corner into gunfire, and then respawn, come back, get killed, respawn on a grenade, respawn... (yawn) It's boring, becuase it's been done to death. Nothing new here...
Single player is very quick and easy, but it's level designs are nicely put together. No one talks over multiplayer unless it's vile cursing and racial epitets... (more yawn)
I'll play Left 4 Dead 2 or Assassins Creed 2 thank you very much. Save your $$$ if you want plot and depth to your game.
If YOU ABSOLUTELLY HAVE TO play a shooter game with no plot other than kill streaks and respawn timers, then have at it... this is one of the good ones for that... I just felt that I want more meat on my video game bone. This is a COD Fan boy's wet dream. For all others, avoid and go find something with a little more depth...
What's great about it: Great graphics, and levels on single player
What's not so great: Multiplayer is old and stale. Adverage life span is 1 - 10 seconds in multiplay
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great fun at first, fizzles out after some hours

The game is fun for the first couple of hours, but after that, it gets old. The ability to destroy any standing structures on the map is great. You can't dig into the dirt, only destroy the buildings. The physics of the buildings isn't always perfect, so you'll be knocking down support beams and wondering why the structure is still barely standing, but a quick remote bomb, will fix that.
In a nutshell: The game feels just like Mercenaries 2 (GTA style, do missions as you see fit... game has great potential, but just doesn't get there...). The graphics are good, not great. The sound is a little lacking, no radio while you drive around... just the annoying hum of your vehicles' engine as you drive over red dirt to your next location. The bullets and explosions sound and look good. The plot is typical Red Faction style: People being treated like animals, so they fight back, and you help them.... With VIOLENCE!!!
The controls for driving around are a little sloppy, but it works. The control is much better when you're on foot, and you can use cover during firefights. The action is good, but tough. They throw enemy after enemy at you, and if you're not prepared, the AI will box you in and flank you within seconds, so you always have to act quickly and re-adjust your tactics, so that is fun and challenging. They tried to implement a mild stealth gameplay to the action parts, but it fails badly (you can walk around and perform minor actions around enemies sometime, and other times they will shoot you on sight for just walking/driving too close to them). So you run and gun almost everywhere. This game could of been AWESOME, but instead, it feels more like a guilty pleasure to see buildings fall/blowup in different ways. It barely has any cut scenes... barely any plot development or character growth. So you won't connect with the main characters, unlike other games where you truely feel for the characters as they grow. Basically in this game, they thrust a gun and some explosives in your hand, and tell you to kill all the EDF Military Personell and blow up their structures... then they turn you loose on the cities of Mars. And that's it... I wanted more, and I'm on hour 7 and still waiting for something that would make me say, "Wow, I'm so glad I bought this!"
This game feels like a futuristic Mars version of Mercenaries 2, right down to the driving physics and on-foot controls.
Basically: If you wanna see stuff explode and blow up buildings, then this will be fun. If you want an engrossing experience, where you bring the downtrodden Mars people up from the dusts of tyranny and love every second of it... then you'll be sorely dissappointed. Get it if you want to see buildings blowup and come crashing to the ground with people screaming and running around while bullets go whizzing past your characters head...
What's great about it: Great destructible enviroment, good action and gun play, great potential as a game
What's not so great: Story and game gets old fast. The game isn't polished as well as you would want...

Its a great racing game

I've played the origional XBox version, this is a great port from the origional. The car controls are very good for this game. It's an arcade racer, so be prepared for some unbelievable racing. For those racing purists, that want more simulated racing like a Grand Tourismo, look somewhere else, this is an arcade racer with a ton of customizing for your car. Each race will take a few times to see where the track is, because you can drive anywhere, so you make your own way to each checkpoint. So you'll restart your race as you drive, make a wrong turn, restart, drive, crash or make another wrong turn, restart and finally get it right. You use your winnings to buy new cars, and upgrade the old ones. It's a very long game, so you'll be playing it awhile before you can put this one to rest. Biggest drawback?... Long load times on everything. Want to see the next car in the shop?... Load... want to see the next set of rims to put on your car... 5 seconds of loading before they pop up. So it takes some time for things to show up on the screen. The races take a little bit to load. But it's a great PSP game, when it's not loading. A great buy for those that like arcade racers.
What's great about it: Just like the XBox version, very flashy and fun arcade racer
What's not so great: Lots of load times. Customizing your car will take time with all the loading..

It's Vice City, with a new character.

If you loved Vice City from the PS2, then this is exactly what you need. You complete missions, drive, fly and fight your way to owning Vice City. Your character can own realestate, make money, swim and fight just like the origional Vice City. The story is great, the City is just like the origional. The timeline takes place a few years before the origional, so some building are still being constructed around the city. And now you can battle gangs to own buildings around the city. And they can attack you, so be prepared to defend your business ventures with the end of a gun... or rocket launcher... or molotov cocktail... If you like GTA, this is a must own. Only little problem is you can't steer your car while looking around. This is a great game to play, to pass the time.
What's great about it: The Same as Vice City from the PS2
What's not so great: Can't look around the car and steer at the same time

Great way to revisit Liberty Citiy on the go...

If you've played the origional GTA Liberty Cities, then this is EXACTLY like the old PS2 game. Same cars, same guns, same places. Even the missions take place in most of the same buildings. The only thing new on the table is that mopeds, motorcycles and helicopters are drivable now. You play Tony Cipriani (a character from the first PS2 GTA series). The timeline, is a few years before the origional title, so things like the Port Tunnel are still being constructed. The sound is great, the radio channels are all back, with new talk radio bits. All the old favorite cars are back, along with the origional guns. No frills from the newer GTA's, like customizing cars or owning realestate, and the origional gripe is back in, Tony can't swim, so getting wet will kill him. You complete missions, kill bad guys, good guys, or just guys in general as you drive or fly around the Liberty Cities. If you loved the origional, this will be a great addition to your PSP library. Only drawback is with the limited buttons of the PSP, you can't look around while driving and steer at the same time, so when looking behind you, your car will go straight no matter what, so make sure you have a clear path while looking around.
What's great about it: It's GTA from the PS2, and now with motorcycles!!
What's not so great: Can't look around your car and steer at the same time...

Is the XBOX360 Arade version have enough memory for...MW2 and L4d2?

Hey guys, i was just wondering if the Arcade version of the 360 has enough memory for playing Mw2 and L4d2 online? I keep reading topics that encourage me to buy the Elite, but do i really need to buy the Elite for the Memory?

I'm not sure whether to buy the Arcade or the Elite... :(
The Elite will keep you going for a long time. Becuase you'll have a large Hard Drive. Without a Hard Drive, you'll be buying memory sticks to hold your game data. And you'll buy new memory sticks once or twice a year. I'd get the Elite, becuase you'll have a Hard Drive that will take a long time to fill up, and you'll spend less in the long run on storage space.

how to download

what if you forgot to click download and forgot ur password and email
You'll have to contact XBox or Microsoft in regards to your account info.
It's a good idea to have the credit card you used to build the account, so you have something to reference w/ the customer service rep. If all else fails, then just get another account. And make sure they cancel out the other account that you used to have. Remember to make sure to cancel, otherwise XBox will charge your credit card every year, for an XBox account, if you don't tell them to stop.

Hope this answer helps.

which is better ps3 or xbox 360 ?

Xbox 360 by FAR.

PS3 is dead in my book.
-They don't have the titles to go with their system
-Their online features were TERRIBLE
-Their controller is too small and uncomfortable for long gaming
-Their Blu-Ray Drive had problems playing movies...
