The replacement could not have been any easier. Noticable increased air flow too.
However, the online specs claim "Life expectancy" @ 300,000 hours while the package states @ 50,000 hours. I guess I should just hold my breath?

~6 Years of Runtime for a $10 Fan Not Enough?

50,000 hours is almost 6 years. And that is probably the MTBF (mean time between failure) so on average it should last 5-6 years. Good value for $10.
