I had to get two of these!

I use it in...:Apartment
This is my second Apple TV. My old model (the second generation 720p) went in the bedroom, and the new 1080p will go in the living room. Easy to set up and paired it to my iPad and iPhone for the remote. That makes it easier to do searches, and I can Air Play my music, movies (stored on my Apple devices) and pics. Plus I like to mirror my iPad2 quite a bit. I have enough choices (Netflix, Hulu Plus, and iTunes) to watch something on television or if I missed a show. Because of these units with my iPad, I was able to get rid of cable television. It's not the perfect solution if you like all the sports stations, or like certain channels but I adjusted and saved ton of money for not paying for cable every month.
On a side note, you can use 2 or more of these Apple TV units on the same network and one Remote App on your Apple iPhone/iPad (get from the App store). The Remote App will tell the difference between which one you want to select (living room or bedroom). Plus you can have more than one Apple account on the Apple TV. This is useful if you have one set of music, TV shows, movies and iTunes credits different from someone else's. With the current firmware update your purchases from the iTunes store are stored in iCloud and can be played without Air Play.
What's great about it: Easy to set up, good price, and enough things to watch
What's not so great: nothing!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Apple does it again

I own an iPad 2 and I thought that was amazing. Works with my Apple TV and easy to use and understand. I bought the new iPad (aka) iPad 4-(according to the salesman b/c it came with the small usb port not the Apple one and comes with Suri) as a gift. Easy to set up. What I liked about the cellular At&T is that you can choose your usage (250mb for $14.99 a month. You can get more data but it cost more $). The person that will use this doesn't have wi-fi or the internet so this was perfect. We tested this out and it put my 3G iPhone 4 to shame. The 4G LTE on the iPad had no problems uploading pics and text on Facebook or whatever we did.
On a side note about the cellular set-up, do it yourself! Unless you plan on downloading videos then you may want to get a share data plan with your phone company. If you are a casual user, no internet/wi-fi in your house and don't plan on downloading movies or videos then just do the monthly plan. I tried to use a pre-paid credit card and it won't expect those if you plan on buying this as a gift. If you want to cancel your plan you have to call. One last thing, on a monthly plan you're not under a 2 year contract.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Expensive (but more versatile than other tablets)
I would recommend this to a friend!

An alternative way for displaying your Garmin GPS
on June 14, 2009

I purchased this because I didn't want to leave suction cup marks on my windshield. I was skeptical of this working because my dash has a radius in it and it is always Armor-Alled. This bean bag stayed in place and took the bumps, sharp turns like a champ. If your looking for an alternative to the suction cup mount this is the product to buy.
What's great about it: Stays in place
What's not so great: Slightly expensive

Price is good and the sound is great

I purchased these 3 days ago for work. I work in a factory and they sound good. They stayed in my ear regardless how much I moved. If you're looking for some in-ear earbuds and don't want to spend alot I would seriously look into these.

Garmin 255WT has the right stuff

I purchased this 2 weeks ago when it went on sale. I really liked the lifetime traffic update. That was the selling point for me. I took it out to my usual places that I visit (friends and family) and I was impressed with it. Personally I wouldn't of used the routes it suggested because I didn't want to drive through the city and deal with lights and traffic but if I didn't know my way around it would of worked. It's not fully loaded like the others but I just wanted it for trips and I liked the traffic report. One last thing, if you can spend the extra money on the Garmin Portable Friction Mount then get that with your GPS. Works good and you don't have that suction cup mark on your windshield. Money well spent
What's great about it: easy to use and reasonable price

I'm a XBOX 360 gamer whats the right tv for me?

I'm looking for a 32' inch 720p for less than $700 which tv would you match me up with?
I hear from the salesman that LCD are the way to go for gaming. If you can get the 120 Hz. This helps for fast action pace shows and gaming.
