What's this? Running can be fun?

This little accelerometer is a great addition to the iPod nano for anyone interested in running, jogging or walking around. It tracks distance, speed, time and calories burned and when synced with the Nike+ webpage (which is done automatically through iTunes), a graph of your speed vs distance run is displayed. It's definitely a great little device for those of us that like to see confirmation of a workout in such an easily trackable manner.
The biggest negative for this device is that it's only for iPod nano, which isn't Nike's problem, but Apple just simply hasn't allowed other iPod's to use the Nike+ system even though it plugs in to them just fine. Why not? Who knows!
What's great about it: Joins Nike, iPod and exercising properly
What's not so great: Only for iPod nano

50 DVD-R discs, 0 coasters

Verbatim discs are known for being high quality discs, so it's no surprise that I made it through my entire spindle of 50 DVD-R discs without any failed burns. With so many cheap brands of discs out there, it's nice to know that I can always fall back on Verbatim's when I need to guarantee a good burn. And what a fabulus purple underside. Very nice.
Of course, with the quality comes a little bit of a premium in price. While not typically absurdly expensive, they generally cost a bit more than the average Memorex or Dynex disc.
What's great about it: Very high quality disc
What's not so great: Relatively high price tag

Refreshing indie - Young bands
on April 24, 2008

Featured on this soundtrack are many young bands - with some of the artists sounding as though they're in their early teens. Some songs area absolutely brilliant. It's such an odd soundtrack - fitting for the movie - and overall thoroughly enjoyable.
What's great about it: Showcase of young bands
What's not so great: Lacks polish
I would recommend this to a friend!
