This action opus inspired by the popular television series of the 1970s has been given a well-rounded presentation for its release on DVD. This edition of S.W.A.T. has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 2.40:1, which has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. (A pan-and-scan full-screen version is also available.) The original English language audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1, as has an alternate dubbed track in French; optional subtitles in English and French are also included. Among the bonus materials are two audio commentary tracks -- one featuring director Clark Johnson and members of the cast, the other featuring screenwriters David Ayer and David McKenna and the film's technical consultant -- as well as a collection of gags and bloopers, several deleted scenes, three short documentaries on the production of the film, a look back at the original television series, filmographies for the cast and crew, and more.

For all the mixed feelings you will get when you ask people if they liked this movie, I was surprised with just how much I enjoyed it. This is a great movie, involving some great twists, big names, and good action. The acting isn't anything amazing, but it fits the mood of the movie itself. As a whole, S.W.A.T. is a light-hearted action movie which gives some background into what life could be like in a S.W.A.T. team. I really enjoyed this film and I recommend it to anyone who wants to watch a light action movie. Oh yeah, and by the way, the opening shootout is a re-enactment of a real shootout called "The Hollywood Shootout". Look it up and you can see just how realistic the re-enactment ended up being... very well done.
What's great about it: Good action, Decent Acting, Fun all-around, Good Twists

For those that liked or loved Halo 1 and/or Halo 2, you will love this game. It is the same basic gameplay, but much more fun in so many different ways. There are a slew of new weapons, and an entirely new array of equipments (such as bubble shields, grav lifts, etc.). The online gameplay is just as addictive and fun as with Halo 2, if not better. The single player campaign is improved as well, including a second character (The Arbiter) throughout the game, allowing seamless transition into co-op. Plus, the graphics are better, so what's not to like? The storyline is the only thing that is a bit difficult to follow for those who don't know much about the first two Halos, but then again, that's kinda what one would expect. Overall, this game is amazing and an absolute "must buy" for anyone who owns a 360.
What's great about it: Great Multiplayer, Improved graphics, more equipment, Improved Campaign
What's not so great: Storyline can seem a bit disjointed
