Sequel to one of the best games ever
on July 23, 2009

If you are reading this and haven't played the original Bioshock, go do it NOW. It is a great game, the voice acting is superb, the characters will draw you into the game, and the excellent audio immerses you in the spooky and detailed fallen metropolis of Rapture.
This is the sequel to what would have been game of the year for 2007, had Call of Duty: Modern Warfare not been released. This sequel takes place after the events of the original Bioshock, and you play the role of a Big Daddy, a creature who, without spoiling the storyline, takes care of The Little Sisters. In this game you are given the choice to protect the Little Sisters, or harvest them for personal gain. I do not know much about the story as of yet, but the aspects I am most looking forward to are: the ability to explore the ocean surrounding Rapture, which you couldn't do in the first game. I am also looking forward to using the Big Daddy's Rivet Gun, another feature the first game lacked.
In conclusion, GET THIS GAME!!! You will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Graphics, exploring the city of Rapture as the Big Daddy, Using the Rivet Gun
What's not so great: Delayed Release until 2010
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not as good as cod4, but good

If you liked cod 4, then you will like this game. it is made by treyarch, which is the alternate team to infinity ward, who made cod 4 and cod 2. treyarch made cod 3 and call of duty big red one. (they have a thing for weird names). The multiplayer is based on the same game engine as the call of duty 4 one, so expect all the same features, like create a class and perks. one difference though, is the addition of more classes for higher prestiges, and an extra perk for vehicles.
The multiplayer is fun, but some of the guns feel underpowered compared to call of duty 4's modern weapons. the mp40 is probably way overpowered though. my only real complaint about multiplayer is that there are a lot of unfair glitches, like getting under the map, which can make it impossible to win. also, tanks in this game are WAY to powerful. it takes 2 shots from a bazooka and one grenade to kill them in normal team deathmatch. also, the flamethrower is not fun in multiplayer because it has bad range. but the dual barreled shotgun is fun. also. shooting peoples limbs off is satisfying.
The campaign is fun too, but not as realistic or believable as cod4's. (BUT JACK BAUER IS IN IT LOL). also, the zombie multiplayer mode is fun. you unlock this by beating the campaign, and you and your firends can take on hoards of undead (they wont let me say it but its spelled N*A*Z*I*S).
Overall this game is fun, a must have for any FPS fan.
What's great about it: ZOMBIES, flamethrower (in campaign), dual barreled shotgun
What's not so great: flamethrower (in multiplayer), weird maps, tanks WAY too powerful

Better than the first

Ok so rock band 1 rocked, even though it wasn't as challenging as guitar hero 3, the music was better, and more modern. Rock band 2 doesn't do much to the original, with the exception of a built-in lag calibrator, new songs, and an improved, less flimsy and quieter guitar. You will be able to use all of your DLC from RB1 so that's good...the first one rocked and the only thing that they did to it was improve its flaws so this one is gonna be awesome too.
My only concern is that now it has competition from GH: world tour maybe it won't be the best music game...but I doubt it.
What's great about it: Improved guitar, same gameplay style, DLC compatibility
What's not so great: Expensive, drum sets (at least in the first) are hella flimsy

Definitly The Game Of The Year
on March 12, 2008
Posted by: NateD
This is definitly one of the best games ever. It's well worth whatever you pay for it. The story is in-depth and interesting, the voice acting is flawless, and the graphics are unbelievable. The water physics are the best I've ever seen, and the levels are detailed. The story is really easy to get into, and i recommend playing it in the dark for added effect, becuse it's kinda creepy at times. The only flaw is the person's hands look kinda weird. It has awesome features like gene-modifying, and you can do stuff like shoot fire and use telekenisis...sort of like the gravity gun from Half Life.
I would totally recommend this game to anyone.
What's great about it: Graphics, Storyline, Character Develolpment, Gene-Modifying
What's not so great: None

Recommended, but could be better

Ok so I got this game after playing the demo, and its a pretty good game. The single player is short, but ok. The only reason i gave it a 4 was because of online play. Ok so it takes forever to load/deploy, but its usually worth it. My favorite is the drone tech mode, where you get to deploy remote control vehicles. Some of them even shoot stuff, so its pretty sick. Although the game is pretty good, I'd still recommend just getting the demo through Xbox Live Marketplace, because it has all of the good parts of the game.
What's great about it: Drone Tech Mode, Online Play
What's not so great: Online Play, Not COD4

can you play xbox games on a xbox 360?

yeah, but only if you have a hard drive because it requires an update to emulate the original xbox
basically it need a program to run the old games and that takes up more space than you have on a memory card
