This is a great movie

This movie is funny and all around a good movie for kids and adults. Though you can tell some scenes were meant to be in 3D on the non-3D disc, it's not that big of a deal. Also the extra movie shorts are hilarious, Banana is the best one by far.
What's great about it: Funny, entertaining
What's not so great: nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

GREAT movie great sound and picture

For the person who said the aspect ratio was a negative must not watch many widescreen movies. The aspect ratio for widescreen movies is supposed to leave the black bars on the top and bottom of the picture. Zooming only makes it worse because you lose some of the picture. If your tv is big enough then the widescreen aspect ratio is perfect. The blu ray quality only makes this movie better. The explosions and sucj sound awesome on my 7.1 system. Overall great movie in theaters and the bluray is like taking the theater home.
What's great about it: The whole movie is great
What's not so great: nothing

I need help updating the firmware on my Samsung 6500 Blue Ray?

Hae been trying to update the firmware on the new blu ray I purchased - need help
Have you tried connecting it to the internet (either wirelessly if able or with and ethernet cable)? There should be a section on the menu where you can check for updates, possibly under settings. If you cannot conenct to the internet try checking out samsungs website and entering your product in the search tab. There will be a tab for firmware updates on there somewhere and of there is a new one you will need to download it to a USB storage and then put that into the USB port on your bluray player. It should automatically ask you for the update when you turn it on.

What'sthe difference in performance 1080p &720p

Simply put 1080p gives you far more pixels in the picture than 720p. To a rookie eye you may not notice a difference but 1080p will give you more color, sharpness, and clarity in the picture. 1080p is called "Full HD" so anything sporting the tag "Full HD" will look better on 1080 than 720 (Which all blu-ray players and video game consoles have the capability of "Full HD"). However, standard definition (480p) may be a little less shape and clear on 1080p vs. 720p. If you're going to put all that money into a new TV you might-as-well get the best and save room for improvement which is what 1080p allows
