Brace yourself for a new set of tricks, tracks and ways to race. The included Wii Wheel transforms your Wii Remote into a steering wheel that feels great in your hands, while the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller supply a classic control style for veterans of this racing series. Either way, you'll be able to perform impressive speed-boosting tricks, such as jumps, flips and wheelies. You can zip through brand-new tracks and arenas, and also tour classic courses from Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart DS. There are even options for trying all-new motorbikes that have their own special tricks and techniques. The action gets fast, furious and funny when you race in Mario Kart Wii.

Great game!

Overall, I think it is a great game. The new tracks are twisty and tricky so it makes it very fun when you're using the steering wheel, specially at 150cc! Going online to challenge people around the world is a great feature that I have enjoyed very much because just when you think you're good in the game, somebody makes you think twice! I would have to say that this is perhaps the best Mario Kart so far!
The only thing that I did not like was how in battle mode you can only split into 2 teams. On the Nintendo 64 Mario kart, 3 friends and I would just go at it every-man-for-himself and it was a lot of fun! The new battle made seemed to get boring now because the new battle arenas are so big that sometimes finding the enemy takes a while and you are just driving around most of the time.
However, the online feature makes up for that since you can play with a friend against the world.
In conclusion, if you don't mind the battle mode changes then you will love this game!
What's great about it: New tracks, being on the wii, new items, online feature
What's not so great: Battle mode with multiplayers is not as fun as previous versions
I would recommend this to a friend!
