Robert Redford directs this dramatic tale of intersecting lives that weaves together the stories of an idealistic professor's attempts to inspire a privileged student, a former student of the teacher who is wounded behind enemy lines in Afghanistan, and a congressman whose interactions with a seasoned journalist reveal much about the man behind the public persona. Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, and Robert Redford star in a film scripted by Matthew Michael Carnahan.

The movie drags on, pretty dull, definitely a dissapointment. I would recommend Charlie Wilson's War (yes different war, but much better movie).
What's not so great: Dull
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A movie that I think is very true. You never know who you're going to come to rely on in life. A very touching movie about how lives intertwine with strangers, everyday stereotypes and how our stereotypes can confront us later. This is really one of my favorite movies and I strongly recommend!
As a side note my parents watched this movie and turned it off half way through. You have to watch the whole thing!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best TV show to have on DVD ever, re-runs on TV are not the same with all of the sensorship. Its the type of DVD you can pop in and enjoy everyday! Its also nice to have all seasons in one pretty package!
What's great about it: FABULOUS!
I would recommend this to a friend!
