Very impressed, much better than I expected.

I was a little skeptical about how good these were going to be given the price point. I must say I would say they are on par with both my Galaxy Buds Pro and my Galaxy Buds at a fraction of the price. Packaging is very compact. Comes with a very short USB-C cable for charging, I use wireless magnetic charging so not a big deal for me. There are also 2 different sized ear tips in addition to the ones that are installed. Pairing was effortless. I downloaded the app which is very easy to use and has a lot of features including ambient sounds that you can play thru the earbuds for relaxation. There are 3 different eq. settings plus a 4th you can customize. Overall sound quality is excellent, bass is strong without being punchy, high end is just a little brassy but can be toned down with the eq. Noise cancelling is about the same as my other earbuds( to me noise cancelling on in ear style earbuds just increases the sound, not true noise cancelling like you get with over-the-ear style headphones) Touch controls work great, better than my Galaxy buds. Battery life is as advertised. I had them on for an hour at the gym and they were down to 90% which would back up the 9 hour claim. They are very comfortable to wear and stay in place well. You can see the battery remaining in the app. for each individual bud, plus the case. The touch controls allow you to raise and lower the volume, play/pause the music, access Siri/Alexa, switch eq. settings, adjust noise control and move to next track. In the app. there is a setting for spatial audio. There is also an adjustable interval timer for working out, a music mode and movie mode and an adjustment for setting the noise limits for safe listening levels. Call quality is great and easily accessible with the touch controls. The case has a pulsing blue light to indicate charging and a white pulse to indicate charging the case. Case is very compact and easily carried in your pocket or purse. Overall I think these are going to become my go-to earbuds and I could not be more satisfied

Very easy to install and has many functions

Just received my Tapo DL100 today. Packaged very well. All hardware is included. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to install. Total time from unboxing to finished installation was approx. 30 minutes. Instructions are very easy to follow and well illustrated.Works very well. I already have other TP-Link devices in my home and have been very happy with them. To enable, you need to download the Tapo app which automatically integrates all your Kasa/TP-Link devices to the app. There are various ways to actuate the lock. 1st is a simple PIN, 2nd is by the app, 3rd is to link it to Alexa or Google home and then you can lock and unlock by voice commands. As an extra security feature you do have to give your PIN to unlock, but locking the door is as simple as saying Alexa lock back door and it is done. If you want someone to have a one-time code you can create it in the app. You can also set the lock to automatically relock by itself after unlocking, that feature I am not using. There is also a log that tracks what method is used to lock and unlock in the app and of course you can sign up to for a subscription to retain the log in the cloud like everything nowadays. You can also add this to a routine within Alexa or Google Home. Overall this could not be easier to install and use and I am very satisfied.

Chromebooks keep getting better and better

I have had several Chromebooks going back to when they were 1st introduced. Every time I get a new one they keep getting better and better this one is no exception.
Pros: Set up is always easy. Turn it on, log into your Google account and everything is there, including Wi-Fi passwords, even from other places you have been. (update did take a little longer than I am used to but it was still only about 5 minutes) Love the illuminated keyboard which is something I have not had on other Chromebooks. Battery life is exceptional as usual on a Chromebook. This is a 2 in 1 so you can also use it as a tablet. Speed is a step up from my older models (8gb vs.4gb). Has a USB-C port on either side. Sound is decent for a small unit. Has Google Gemini AI. Not sure how much I will use it but I did ask it to make me a fictional story about a boy named Timmy and his dog Fred and in about 2 seconds it gave me a cute story about 4 paragraphs in length. I also asked why my wife worries about everything and it did offer me some solutions, which I thought was nice. It now has a search key that is a shortcut to not having to bring up your chrome home screen. Touch screen is very responsive and seems to resist fingerprints but it does have some glare. Display is crystal clear.

Great printer with good features for the price.

I am going from an ink tank style printer for the last 4 years to this cartridge style, it remains to be seen if I am going to like going back. Unboxing and setup was straightforward and simple using the HP Smart app. I went thru all the features and was quite pleased with the operation. Print speed is quite quick especially in B&W. Photo quality I feel is exceptional for a printer at this price point. One note: If you are printing photos on a smaller than 8 1/2x11 paper make sure you have an adequate amount of paper in the tray as just adjusting the size in the tray and changing it in the print specs does not always work as I tried to print 5x7 photos and they only printed on the left side of the page. I contacted technical support chat and spent almost an hour with them and they could not figure it out and I realized on my own how to correct the problem. I am not sure if I am going to like the subscription service for ink or not but we will see. I do like the double sided printing feature which I did not have on my other printer. I also like the front loading feature on the paper tray as the printer sits on a stand below my desk and it is much easier to load than my old one. Printing from your phone is very easy and works well, however you have to be on the same wi-fi network as the printer for it to work. I tried scanning and copying and they worked quite well and again were very straightforward to use. I was never able to get my old printer to sync up to my chromebook but this one did and works well.
Overall I feel the setup, print quality and ease of use is exceptional. It remains to be seen how I feel about the cartridges versus ink tank works out but I do not print the volume of things I have in the past so I think it will work OK. Definitely would recommend this to others for a good, basic at home printer that will serve all your needs.

Outstanding sound for a compact package

I got this system to use in my downstairs woodshop to give me something to listen to that was versatile e.g. has radio, bluetooth and cd playback. I must say I am very impressed by the sound quality from this small package. It came packaged very well and damage free. Very simple to assemble and hook up. Attach speaker wires that are approx. 4 feet long and FM antenna, plug in power cord and you are ready to go. Manual is well written and easy to follow if you need to. Note: does not come with a battery for the remote. 1 AA battery is needed. Bluetooth pairing is easy and straightforward, you can pair up to 8 devices to the unit. CD can be ejected from either the remote or with a button on the front of the receiver. There is also a USB input on the rear of the unit that you can plug a flash drive into. All files thru the USB must be MP3 files. On the FM side it can hold up to 30 presets for stations. It also has a clock and a timer to turn it on at a specified time or use it as a sleep timer. You can manually adjust the sound quality or use 1 of 5 preset eq settings. Bass and treble can be adjusted to positive or negative in 4 increments. It also has a setting for D Bass ( I find this most desirable) and also turn surround on and off, although I didn't really hear a lot of difference but I have the speakers quite close together. There is also an auto off feature and a bluetooth standby that turns the unit on when the paired device is connected. A headphone jack on the front of the unit is also included. As I said earlier the sound is outstanding for a unit of this size and it will easily fill a large area with sound. Everything can be controlled by the remote. At this price point I think you would be hard pressed to find something better, especially with the versatility of all the different sources. Very satisfied

Nice accessory to the Fire Max 11

I got the stylus, keyboard case and Fire Max 11 as a package deal. This review is on the stylus only. It is handy to use with the Fire Max 11" tablet, but it only seems to work with the Fire Max. not get it to work on any other stylus devices. There are no instructions with the stylus, however there is a tutorial on the tablet that shows you some of the basic functions on the stylus. It has a good feeling in the hand and I have used it with the sketch guru app. and it does offer a lot of functionality with the tablet. I have not been able to use it with notepad or any other apps. so to me it is not really a necessary accessory but it is nice to use as just a stylus when using the tablet. It is very responsive. It comes with 1 spare tip and a AAAA battery. Not sure how long battery life is. AAAA batteries are available at a reasonable price but I am not sure how long it will take me to use a 4 pack of them up as this is the only device I own that has AAAA batteries. It does attach to the side of the tablet with a magnet and stays on fairly well, but it will come off if jostled. Overall if you are a big stylus user I would recommend it, but it is not necessary in my opinion to have with the tablet

Great for replacing a surge strip

I got this to consolidate my devices plugged in behind my nightstand in the bedroom. It is compact but it still takes out 2 outlets so you are really only gaining two extra electrical plugs, however you do gain 3 additional USB plugs. The rotating plugs are nice for accommodating "wall warts", the only drawback is that they do not rotate easily until you have something plugged into them. I wish the USB plugs had more USB-C inputs (only one out of three) as most newer products are now USB-C on both ends and it did require me having to purchase an additional cable that was USB-A on one end and USB-C on the other. This does offer 1080 joules of surge protection and $100k of connected equipment warranty. I do like this in place of a surge strip as they always have a thick bulky cord that you can never seem to get to bend the way you want it to. It seems to charge everything well and doesn't get too hot. The only drawbacks I have to mention is the lights on the bottom to show it is protected and grounded are fairly bright and they do throw off a lot of light at night in my bedroom. The other drawback is that even though it does not show it in the description there is a long screw in the center to screw it into the existing outlet for stability. That is great for conventional outlets, but I actually paid extra in my house to have the "Decora" style outlets that do not have the center screw, it does however seem quite stable when plugged in. Note: the screw is a little tough to remove initially Overall a very nice replacement for a surge strip and does what it is advertised to do. Would recommend

Great little unit. Love Insignia products

I want to preface this review by saying I am not a wine snob by any means. We are regular wine drinkers but we prefer to stick to sweeter, semi-dry, white wines. 1st off is the packaging. It was very well packaged and came damage free which I am happy to say was a relief as it seems most appliances and large items I have received lately have come with some sort of damage. This had plenty of packing to avoid damage and was easy to unbox. It can easily be moved by one person and it is very attractive. The door shuts very tight and is not hard to open. The door is reversible if you need it to be.
I plugged it in and checked the temperature settings against what was listed in the manual with a very accurate thermometer. The cold and normal settings were off by about 5 degrees. In the manual it says normal should be 48 to 59 degrees and it was 43 degrees. The colder setting (which is the coldest) should be 39 to 48 degrees and it was 34 degrees. The cold setting (which is the warmest) was pretty close and was only 2 degrees colder than the specs list. It is nice that in the owners guide it does list the various temperatures that different types of wine should be chilled to. The unit operates very quietly and you don't know when it is running unless you listen very closely. Capacity is as listed. If you have any bottles that are fatter than normal they will have to be stored on the removable bottom rack as they will not fit in the top fixed racks. The only drawback that I see is like any stainless steel appliance it is prone to fingerprints on the stainless but they are easily cleaned up. Overall for our 1st wine cooler I would highly recommend especially at the price point

Great Chromebook for a reasonable price

This is my 4th Acer Chromebook. I have been very happy with all of them, this one is no different. Like all Chromebooks, set up is a breeze. Turn it on and enter your Google id and password and you are working. Display is very crisp. I can have many tabs open at once and it does not slow it down. Touchscreen is very responsive and works well. I can use all the various Google apps such as sheets, docs etc. when I am working on different projects. It is very nice that you can now use all the apps from the play store with your Chromebook. The only drawback is that a number of them are not optimized for using with a laptop and you have to resize them to make them useful. Battery life is awesome, I can get a full 9-10 hours out of a single charge. would prefer that that charging cable was like my last Chromebook that just had a wall wart that you could plug the usb-c cord into. This one still has a 2 piece cord that does take up space, but I can still fit the cord and my bluetooth mouse in the sleeve that comes with the Chromebook. It also can be charged on either side with usb-c which is very handy and you can also charge another usb-c device while charging this one. Overall I am very satisfied with this unit and highly recommend it for the price point.

Great earbuds with a couple caveats. Good value

We got these for my wife who has had at least 3 other pair that she could not get a comfortable or secure fit. These so far have been great for the fit aspect. They stay in her ears without any problems. Sound quality is quite good, app is easy to use. They come with 3 different size tips, case is chargeable with USB-C and charge quite fast. Battery life is as advertised. Call quality is quite good. The only drawbacks are the case does not stay open easily and keeps closing as there is no detent to keep the case open and the touch controls take a little getting used to. Other than that for the price point they are very adequate and nice to use. I have had much more expensive models that did not work near as well as these. Anker makes quality products for the money and I have many of their other products such as bluetooth speakers, cables and wall chargers and I have been satisfied with all the Anker products I have purchased. I would highly recommend these for the price point and the features offered.
