Jersey Stand Up!

This was supposed to be the mixtape before the real cd. Who knows when it will actually come out, but this was a great mixtape for the time being that is better than just about any rappers actual cd. If Joe Budden isn't the most slept on rapper in the game I don't know who is. The cd is full of great production that fits Joe's flow perfectly. Lyrically Joey is also on point. This is a must have for anyone who is a true hip hop fan.
What's great about it: Lyrics and production

No Title Needed

This is a much needed cd dropped by one of the best mc's of all time. The cd was pushed back due to the original title being so controversial, but this did not change the message that Nas was trying to get across to the listener. Nas has always been a different type of mc. He has slowly evolved into a more conscious rapper over time. Nas can make music for the streets, but he can also make meaningful records that make you think. This is probably his best cd lyrically. Production wise the beats aren't bad, but could have been chosen better. Overall this is a great cd on par with early Public Enemy cds, as well as KRS ONE due to the politically motivated songs. Nas truely is not afraid to speak his mind and this was a much needed cd with the current state of hip hop being so commercialized.

Killer CD

I had never bought a Tech 9 cd, but had previously listened to his music. He has got to be one of the most slept on rappers in the game. What more can you ask for? Killer is filled with bangin' beats and very good lyrics from Tech. He can really rip a track touching on any subject matter. At times the featured artist seem out of place when they follow a Tech verse, but they aren't horrible, just not quite on par with Tech lyrically. This is one of the best releases of the year, got to your local Best Buy and pick it up.
What's great about it: Production, Lyrics, and 2 double disk
What's not so great: Guest tend to spoil tracks
