Gears of War 2 picks up six months after the events of Gears of War. The Limited Edition includes a collectible steel book DVD case, "Beneath the Surface: An Inside Look at Gears of War 2," a 48-page hardbound book, a bonus DVD including exclusive making-of-the-game video footage, an exclusive gold-plated Lancer Assault Rifle available during online play.

I played through the first game solo and with a buddy. The gameplay itself was awesome, especially doing it co-op. I loved the skill based reload. And the graphics were VERY impressive.
But I have two complaints, that I hope they fix for the sequel.
The first one being, the story. They hardly explained anything in the game. I had no idea what was going on, aside from the some bug/aliens came out of the ground and needed to die. I didn't know that the game wasn't set on Earth, untill after I beat it and looked on the internet. I'd just like to see the story fleshed out some more.
My second complaint, is multiplayer. I'll probably get flamed for this, but hear me out. The cover system is awesome, my complaint isn't with the game itself. On paper or in theory the cover system is a sound idea. But when you incorporate the internet and people with it, you get people camping. I stopped playing the game because every game i joined the other players would just camp.

What's great about it: Graphics! Gameplay! and skill based reload!
What's not so great: no explination of story. Mulitplayer : (
I would recommend this to a friend!
