Finally... something that does the job RIGHT!

I have a $400 Oreck vacuum I've had a few years now and to say that it has "lost it's touch" is an understatement... We have a long haired German Shepherd that sleeps on the floor in the bedroom. I had put my hand on the floor and a TON of hair was stuck to it and I had had enough!
i went to Best Buy as I was looking for computer related items and saw the vacuum section. After standing there for 30 minutes (I kid you not) I finally decided that this was the best vacuum for my needs. Easy to put together, no tools required, although a but on the "heavy" side, i was hoping it was because it was heavy duty. After 6 passes over the carpet in our bedroom I was not only surprised to see the natural color of our carpet again (I had forgotten what it had looked like!) but i was even surprised that the vacuum was already about halfway full! Disgusting! That's when I knew, we had the right vacuum. Good Buy! (Best Buy would have just been shameless....)
What's great about it: Gets deep and love the handheld feature
What's not so great: retractable chord gets jammed often on the way back in.
I would recommend this to a friend!
