I almost returned this to the store on the grounds that the polarity wasn't labeled. My son asked to look at it and found little plusses printed on one of the wires. Even after he pointed it out to me, I couldn't see it without a magnifying glass. Since I'm an old fashioned two channel guy I only had to look four times... but I would not recommend this for a home theater!
What's great about it: Ok, the + is labeled somewhere
What's not so great: I literally used a magnifying glass to see it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
