Exquisite image quality and creative freedom in a truly compact package. For razor-sharp images and pro-quality defocused backgrounds, the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 features a large, 1" sensor and an ultrabright Carl Zeiss f/1.8 lens. ..

Sony RX100 - Great general use camera
on September 3, 2012

As a long-time Sony/Zeiss user (Back in the DSC-S50 days of 1999), this camera rocks with the T* Zeiss lens.
The overall quality, fit and finish is excellent and expected of a made in Japan Sony product. The menu is easy to use and follow and setup is easy.
I would highly recommend this camera to anyone as a backup to your DSLR or as a standalone general use camera.
What's great about it: Awesome Zeiss lens!
What's not so great: Body scratches easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great pro-am DSLR camera

This is my first Canon DSLR camera, coming from a Sony and Nikon background. I decided to get the 7D rather than the 60D or the 5D. I'm not a professional photographer, but an advanced beginner.
I found the features of the 7D to be plentiful, easy to setup and use and they just work.
Overall, I would recommend this camera if you have a few hundred bucks to spend over the 60D, but can't afford the 5D. A great overall camera!
What's great about it: Solid body, good lens and features
What's not so great: China-built materials for lens.
I would recommend this to a friend!
