I bought this tripod to use for a lecture series tour, and it worked as I expected for what I needed. My only complaint about it is that in the middle of one of the lectures, the camera suddenly tilted up all the way, and both the camera and tripod fell to the floor. The camera and tripod still worked perfectly, thank God. The only reason why it did that though is because of the camera's weight wasn't balanced with the stance of the tripod: when using this tripod, place the legs of the tripod so that the front leg is directly under the eye of the camera, and the opposite two legs are outside the back of the camera. There should be no problem from that point on.
