This Family Guy Movie is basically their TV show, just with a running time of 88 minutes. The movie doesn't stretch too far from the show because you still have the plot changes thrown in. With minimal "remember that time when" cutscenes, the movie was more fun to watch than the series. It made jokes without going too far whihc is what it should do more often. This movie is a fun way to kick back and laugh. If you're a fan of the seires, then this is an easy choice to make.

Throughout the film, Will Smith does an excellent job acting. He makes it so that we actually care about him as a character. The set location was done great. It looked just like the city dropped everything they were doing and just got up and left, which was basically the point. The supposed mutants looked OK. They weren't taken overboard and we could establish that they were once civilized humans by the way they look. However, after a while, they just became freaks. Somehow the transformation gave them more abilities than Olympic athletes. The plot started to get lame when his world seems hopeless. Just as the average movie cliche does every time, the babe shows up in the knick of time and saves him at the last possible second... yawn - seen it too much before. The plot got sort of twisted at the end. When we find that the "head" mutant was just after another mutant he cared about, they lose their whole 'nothing but instincts' feel. Anyway, it was a fair tribute to the original novel but didn't quite hit the best shot. If you want to really understand this film, or what it tried to be, then watch 'The Omega Man.' After seeing that film, this one isn't as bad as I originally thought, it just took a creative direction that may seem unusual or strange to some.
This movie also goes to show that you don't need to cast living people to make the movie good. To me, the Manikins were perfect and were more funny by themselves than some comedians i've seen.
What's great about it: Good Acting - Set Design - Mutants?
What's not so great: Too Much CG - Kind of Corny At Times

This game is great for the online player. The battles are huge and a lot of fun. A lot of people see this game and go "yuck, Treyarch sucks" but this game isn't bad. The maps are intricate and fun. They're big and provide a lot of cover, which you can sometimes blend in with. There's a map online that is pretty much a jungle with bushes and trees and trenches everywhere. Basically, a sniper's haven. Unlike COD4, you have the ability to use specials depending on what class you are. If you're a sniper and you're doing well, then you can call in an airstrike wheras if you're a medic, you can leap in the line of fire and revive your fallen buddy. This is the best WWII game to date and, in my opinion, has a lot of distinctive characteristics that surpass COD4, not to mention that vehicles are available in this one. The campaign mode is fun and takes you all over.

This has to be my favorite robbery movie I have seen so far. Its a clever thrill ride of bangs, booms, and zipping minis. Not only does the movie look good, it actually has sound physics applied to the stunts they pull. For an older movie put to blu-ray, this one still looks great on any TV.

When the controller begins to shake, that just makes the experience so much better. The vibration function is impressive, a little more advanced than Dualshock2 for PS2. The price is a tad dissapointing though. Compared to the SIXAXIS alone, this costs more and only contains half of the battery life because it uses more juice. But, the price is worth it. How many PS3 games actually utilize the SIXAXIS feature? Oh well, now you can vibrate while you use the feature. I'd say its well worth the money. Its more durable than the regular controller and it just seems more fun to use. Any gaming experienced is greatly enhanced using this item. Get it, it's worth it.

For a guy who really doesn't enjoy baseball that much, I found this game hard to put down. The graphics are gorgeous, the stadiums, characters, equipment... it all looks clean and sharp. Players look a tad too smooth. The actual play is nice. Guess the pitch, guess the zone, hit it out of the park. It keeps the same basic structure as previous MLB The Show games but it adds a little more in-depth player analysis when trading and viewing stats. This game also allows you to create a custom music playlist for when you're browsing around the main menus of the game, but it doesn't carry over to the stadium speakers. I'd rather hear my music over the PA than the announcers. They can get a tad annoying when they say the same thing three times in a row. Online is fun.
What's great about it: Excellent Gameplay - Graphics - Personalized Playlists
What's not so great: Create-a-character is minimal, not enough custom detail options

Although not 100% historically accurate, this film does a decent job of describing the battle at Thermopylae. Persians VS Spartans with aid from Greeks. This film is ok. It is fun to watch in the fighting scenes because of all the Choreographed fighting. The characters were so hard to take seriously though. The so called "immortals" had thin armor and whicker shields when it happened, not they're like ninja freaks out of a samurai movie. The oracles were just plain disturbing. I enjoyed it mostly. It was a good looking film, but its simply not one I would recommend buying. It just seems hard to see myself watching this more than once or twice.

My favorite TV series finally makes a movie. After how many seasons went by already, it was no wonder that it would be a great film. It stayed true to the series by keeping their style in tact as well as casting voices of people who made appearances throughout the series. Albert Brooks (Russ Cargill) is probably one of my favorite voice actors, especially when he plays the bad guy (Hank Scorpio - You Only Move Twice Season 8). No animated cartoon movie has ever been this good.
What's great about it: Hilarious - Solid Plot/Characters

This isn't one of the usual Bond films everyone is used to seeing. There really wasn't any sneaky spy action taking place because this movie was dedicated to revealing Bond's character. It gave his life's background, how he joined MI6, and how his love life played out. We even were hinted that M may be short for ... Mom? This had one of the best opening scenes in film. Whoever the free-runner was at the beginning, he was skilled. The most memorable part of that whole scene was when crazy feet jumps through a vent in a wall and Bond just breaks through the wall itself, making the vent thing just seem fruitless.
What's great about it: Great Acting - Intense Action - Rounded Characters
