When choosing which mutant hero they would use to launch the X-MEN feature-film prequel series ORIGINS, the creators of the hugely successful franchise had a no-brainer of a decision in going with Wolverine. Not only is he the most well-known and popular X-Men character, but Wolverine-as brought expertly to life in true leading-man fashion by Hugh Jackman-was essentially the star of the three previous X-MEN movies. As the title implies, X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE is the back story of the fiery and conflicted Wolverine (ni James Logan), whose mutant powers include killer claws that shoot from his knuckles and a regenerative ability that allows him to live seemingly forever. Starring Liev Schreiber, Hugh Jackman, Danny Huston, Ryan Reynolds, Director Gavin Hood Special Features Widescreen Audio Dolby Digital 5.1 - English, French, Spanish Subtitles - English, French, Spanish Runtime 107 Minutes

Great action

I really don't understand the critics. This is not a movie for great thinkers and philosophers of our time. This is not a movie to explain to the world about the true origin of Wolverine. His character is supposed to be an enigma. You get to find out a bit more about him in this movie. Yes, much of the story line was basically 'recycled' from the various comic books previously published. But that, to me, didnot diminish the movie. Everyone should know by now. X Men movies are comic books in action/movie form. And to that end, X Men Origins was thoroughly entertaining to me. The movie was a good way to burn a couple of hours and relax.
What's great about it: Action and more action
What's not so great: Not suitable to people who are looking for more than just a good action movie
I would recommend this to a friend!
