Nice Refrigerator

When the refrigerator arrived it did not have a water filter. It said you had to call Whirlpool to have one sent out. I don't know why they would not just include a filter instead of having to call the manufacturer. I called Whirlpool and they said one would be mailed and I should get in within the week. When nothing arrived after 2 weeks I called back and they had no record of my call...A little disappointing. Once I installed the water filter, I expected the water to not taste like tap water, but once in a while it does. Called whirlpool again but no suggestions why that is happening.
Overall the refrigerator is good and quiet except for the ice maker which is a little loud.
