Good for Casual Users
on July 31, 2008
Posted by: bel326
I just bought this one two weeks ago and as a not-so-tech-savvy person, I was amazed at how easy the setup was! My last computer took hours of downloading from a disk, but this one set up in minutes.
It looks like Norton comes with it, but judging by another reviewer's comment, it is a trial period.
For casual uses like net surfing, email and office work, it does the job great and the price is a big plus!
What's great about it: Super Easy Setup!
What's not so great: None so far

Season 2 of the hit mockumentary opens with the hardly coveted Dundie Awards, the annual ceremony honoring Scranton employees in such esteemed categories as Hottest in the Office and Whitest Tennis Shoes. In a typical move, regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) emcees the show and picks the winners-but doesn't pick up the tab. In other Michael developments, he spies on staffers' emails, mistakes an IT guy for a terrorist, burns his foot while cooking bacon bedside, and becomes a reluctant homeowner. He does manage to find some success in the dating department. He goes out with his likable real-estate agent Carol (played by Carell's wife Nancy Walls) and hooks up with his recently divorced no-nonsense boss Jan Levinson (Melora Hardin). The latter affair starts as a one-night stand but leads to a slightly warped (and somewhat imagined in Michael's eyes) love triangle between the three. In other office romances, Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) and Angela Martin (Angela Kinsey) start a top-secret love affair, Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling) crushes on Ryan Howard (B.J. Novak), and Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) continues dating Katy (Amy Adams), the "hot girl" he met in the Season 1 finale. But it's Pam Beesly (Jenna Fischer) whom he not-so-secretly pines for, even though she's engaged (for three years and counting) to insensitive warehouse worker Roy (David Denman). Much to Jim's dismay, Roy finds a moment of drunken clarity on Michael's ill-fated booze cruise and finally sets a date for his and Pam's wedding. Pam's thrilled at first, but then she starts thinking beyond the reception desk when a Women in the Workplace seminar inspires her to attend art school. Jim wholeheartedly encourages the idea, which is quickly shot down by Roy, planting seeds of doubt in Pam's mind about whether Roy is really the right guy for her.

Best season of the Office by far!
on July 12, 2008

This is far and away the best season of an already incredible show! The first season set the bar pretty high, getting better with every episode after the pilot, but Season Two starts with a bang and keeps building until the amazing last episode.
This season also has the best commentaries (Seasons 1 & 3 didn't seem to have as many, season 3 especially is lacking in commentaries.) But Season 2 has loads of commentaries, usually with the people we want to hear from most, the main characters along with some behind the scenes insight from writers and directors.

Great for picking up hair

This vacuum works amazingly well for picking up hair and it is incredible (and sometimes scary) to see how much stuff it picks up. A must-have for pet owners and people with vacuum-clogging hair as well.
The hose is not designed that well though and is difficult to use in small areas.

One of the best seasons in the series
on July 7, 2008

The third season of the Facts of Life is arguably one of the best in the series. The show had hit its stride in its second season with the addition of Nancy McKeon and the change in format from many girls to just four.
By the third season, the cast has gelled and the relationships are deeper, particularly between polar opposites Jo and Blair.
Hopefully the fourth season is forthcoming soon as well!

Another excellent season of a classic show!

The 7th season of Murder She Wrote continues the show's tradition of fun, campy situations coupled with the superb acting of Angela Lansbury.
Of special note here is that the 7th season is the very last season that the show is set primarily in Cabot Cove, ME (along with the usual traveling episodes.) The 8th season marks Jessica's move to NYC, so the viewers who love the Cabot Cove episodes will treasure this 7th season DVD set.
Another great feature is a bonus interview with a still-sharp and interesting Angela Lansbury, the show's writers and several co-stars, detailing the success of the show. Despite Lansbury's already decades-long acting career, it was Murder She Wrote that made her a household name.
