Great Show!

This is one of those shows that makes a lasting impression on a kids life. Now being in college, my friends and I still watch it. We remember every episode, because they were just that funny and clever. It is a show for all ages; noone will feel left out. A classic TGIF show!!

Laverne DeFazio (Penny Marshall) and Shirley Feeney (Cindy Williams) first graced America's television screens as Richie and Fonzie's cheap and easy dates on an episode of HAPPY DAYS. Before long, their spinoff show, LAVERNE & SHIRLEY, would go on to match, and arguably surpass, it's parent show's success with the winsome comic adventures of it's two spunky heroines. Star Leslie Easterbrook, Phil Foster, Betty Garrett, David L. Lander, Ed Marinaro, Penny Marshall, Special Features Full Frame - 1.33 Audio Unspecified English Runtime 605 minutes.

Laugh Out Loud Funny!

This show is definately one of my favorites. It has slapstick humor and very witty lines. Each character provides a key element to making the show mesh so well. Being from the Milwaukee area, it makes this show that much more fun to watch as well. Especially when there are cameo appearances from the gang on "Happy Days!"

Creepy...not!
on July 31, 2008

I was very upset with this movie. There was tension between Sydney (Alba) and her doctor (Nivola), but nothing EVER happened. Very dissapointing. It was just a very depressing attempt of a movie. Jessica Alba is gorgeous like always, but not enough to keep the interest of the viewer for the actual content of the movie brought or just plain lacked...

I just love Emmy's voice. She is really talented and her voice is truly flawless. If you were awed by her in Phantom of the Opera I would highly suggest you take a listen to this CD.

For fans of the movie, this soundtrack is awesome. Emmy Rossum and Gerald Butler are simply breathtaking singers. I never get sick of this soundtrack!

This sci-fi-tinged action epic gets a grand-scale release on DVD. This edition of The Day After Tomorrow has been given a pan-and-scan transfer to disc at the full-screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1 (a letterboxed widescreen version is also available). The original English-language audio is presented in two formats, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, while dubbed tracks in French and Spanish have been mastered in Dolby Digital Surround. Optional subtitles in English and Spanish are also included. Bonus materials include a commentary track from director and co-screenwriter Roland Emmerich and producer Mark Gordon, as well as another commentary from co-screenwriter Jeffrey Nachmanoff, cinematographer Ueli Steiger, production designer Barry Chusid, and editor David Brenner. Also featured are a pair of deleted scenes, a interactive look at how the film's audio tracks were created, a short feature on the making of the movie, and an Internet link to additional materials.

There is a Day After Tomorrow

soooo yes there was work done in this movie by computers...but i still enjoyed it. i seemed to get very cold watching it, another iceage comes over the world...a few moments where i was gasping and covering my eyes in disgust by the graphic deaths. Otherwise, all in all it was a decent movie. Dennis Quaid is hot, but only smiles once in the entire movie.

Poseidon!!

This movie was pretty good. The plot could have been developed more before the actual wave came. It did kind of seem a bit unlikely how all the main characters ended up getting out of the ship together, with a life boat right on the outside where they were...just a bit. Otherwise the visual effects were outstanding. There were some very graphic scenes as well that added to the story.

Ron Howard's reality-TV satire EDtv gets a deluxe release with this DVD package. The widescreen transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while a French soundtrack is mixed in Dolby Digital Surround. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental features include two different commentary tracks -- one by the director and another by the writers, talent bios, production notes, the theatrical trailer, deleted scenes, outtakes, and a "making of" documentary. Although the film failed to click with audiences (it was overshadowed by the seemingly similar The Truman Show), this disc makes every attempt to reach an audience.

Matthew!

So Matthew McConaughey is gorgeous, so it made the movie bearable. It was mildy funny. Ellen Degeneres played a good role; she was probably the most funny element of the whole movie. A few cameos from Jay Leno, and Elizabeth Hurley were funny too. Not an outstanding movie, but something worth seeing.

Nancy Drew
on July 16, 2008

I was very skeptical of this movie and at first wasn't going to ever see it. Luckily I decided against it. It was a rather suprisingly funny movie. Nancy Drew's lil sidekick guy was the only one to bring humor to the movie, but he did it well. He was definately one of my favorite characters. I would suggest this movie for a few good laughs.
