In director Jon Avent's 2008 crime drama RIGHTEOUS KILL, two New York City police detectives-Turk (Robert de Niro) and Rooster (Al Pacino)attempt to track down a serial killer who targets only vicious criminals. This enigmatic vigilante has earned the duo's respect, yet they are duty-bound to apprehend the criminal-hunting assailant, and in doing so they strain the bonds of their longtime partnership. Aiding Turk and Rooster are a fiery younger pair of detectives (Donnie Wahlberg and John Leguizamo) and investigator Karen Correlli (Carla Gugino), who are determined to see that justice is served. The second face-to-face film pairing of De Niro and Pacinothe first being Michael Mann's gritty 1995 epic, HEAT-RIGHTEOUS KILL finds the revered veteran actors working within the confines of a police procedural. Ably supported by Gugino, Wahlberg, and Leguizamo, the iconic performers contribute relatively subdued turns, never fully engaging in their signature dramatic fireworks. Director Jon Avnet Star Robert de Niro, Al Pacino, Brian Dennehy, John Leguizamo, 50 Cent, Carla Gugino, Anamorphic Widescreen - 2.35 Audio Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround - English Subtitles - Spanish Additional Material Audio Commentary - Jon Avnet - Producer, Director Featurette - 1. Worth a rental

I didn't even bother with the DVD extras, so I don't know what's there, but the movie didn't really impress me. With two such high caliber actors, I expected more, but the plot was thin and I saw the ending from a mile away.

I really liked this movie, but I liked Forgetting Sarah Marshall more. It's done by the same guys, even has a number of the same people, but seemed more plausible, either that or my life is just that weird. It's got a nice ending and is really funny, but I think few people would've stepped up as much as Ben Stone did and changed his whole life.

American movie with a dash of asian asthetic

I wanted to like this movie, but I couldn't. The plot was very thin, the action and cinematography was more eastern world stylized (sorry, but I'm not a fan) and the quasi-love story, though didn't feel out of place, did seem to have no point either. In summary, there's much better (Nic Cage) movies you can see.

Better than the other Mummy movies

If it wasn't for The Dark Knight, this movie would've done a lot better in the box office. Unfortunately, because of timing, it got buried and forgotten rather quickly, which is a shame. I actually enjoyed this movie more than the second one and a whole lot more than the Scorpion King. Although the kid of the O'Connells grew up too quick, (without the parents really aging at all), it's a really enjoyable movie with some fun tongue-in-cheek moments.

Ending on an average note

If you're a fan of the series, this movie might be worth checking out, otherwise you probably won't bother. The acting is what I expect from the cast, otherwise I would've rated it lower and the extras are pretty good. There wasn't much of a mystery to it, which is the whole point of the franchise, but it is good to visit Mulder and Scully again.

What does the American Dream mean today? For Niko Bellic, fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity. As they slip into debt and are dragged into a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream. In a city that worships money and status, life is heaven for those who prosper and a living nightmare for those who don't. Developed by the superstar designers at Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto IV continues the exciting legacy of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Get the 360 version if you can
on January 7, 2009

I'd actually give the PS3 version 4.5 stars and the 360 verison a full 5 because the 360 version is getting exclusive downloadable content. Aside from that, the two games are virtually identical. It's a little slow to begin with, but just like a movie, it really pays off as it goes. This is one game you shouldn't pass up.
What's great about it: Story, varity, dialogue, everything
What's not so great: Exclusives go to the 360.

History of Superman.

This is what it is. A DVD about the long history of Superman. If you like the character or want to know more about him, check this out. If not, you're checking this out for the wrong reason.

A zombie attack brings chaos to Harvardville Airport. Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield who fought the sinister Umbrella Corporation during the Raccoon City tragedy 7 years ago, are back. In high-octane Resident Evil style, they're ready to battle a rogue warrior who is seeking revenge after his family was killed in Raccoon City. Like watching a video game?

I only recommend this, because my friends are fans of the games. This is one of those cases I'm not sure how to rate it. I couldn't get past the idea that I should be playing this instead of watching. I didn't have that problem with the live action movies, so I have to blame it on the CGI. The lipsyncing is pretty well done since this was originally in Japanese (if I remember right), but the acting still needed some work for some of the characters. The extras are cool though and pretty good for fans.

Great movie

I have come to not doubt anything that PIxar puts out. Knowing there was very little conversation in this movie, I expected it to be boring and childish. Relying more on action scenes than any story. Although the story is simple, and there are plenty of action, there's humor and before the story really takes over, you end up caring about Wall E and his friend EVE.

More songs to play

Just like my other review of this game, if you don't need the guitar, you might as well save the money and get this. If not, get the guitar bundle. If you like this game genre, you'll like this game, but it would be nice to be able to make your own characters.
What's great about it: Great song variety, artists, etc
What's not so great: character customization would be nice

How can I buy the AC/DC Live rock band pack? It doesn't seem to be available on the PS Store.

Go to an actual, brick and mortor store and pick it up. It's that simple.

Does the Wii play DVD's?

Sadly, no. Kinda pointless though since most everyone at this point has a DVD player or a different system that will play them.

what is the difference between rockband and guitarhero which is better

Rock Band has multiple instuments (two guitars, drums, and a microphone) and has songs that have been programed to make use of all those instruments. With Guitar Hero, you use just that. A guitar and only a guitar. The songs weren't created with the other instruments in mind, but with Rock Band, you don't have to use all the instuments if you don't want to or don't have the people there at the moment.
