Almost perfect.

When a movie makes almost one billion worldwide, it has to be good and this movie exceeds that. Ledger stole the show and his performance is so good, I forgot it was him and I was disappointed whenever he left the screen. The movie still has a few cheesy moments, but if felt a little misedited toward the end, but all in all, an amazing movie. There's a few extras on the Bluray that aren't on the DVD 2pack, but aside from that (and the obvious picture quality), they're the same so go with what you prefer.
What's great about it: The Joker, Two Face, Batman, Alfred, Joker again.
What's not so great: No commentary or deleted scenes.

A game like none other

This is one of those rare games I'll actually keep after beating. You play through it, collecting items which teaches you how objects interact and gives you items to make your own levels with. You can share your levels online and can even earn newly created items from player created levels! This game has a lot of replay value. If you ever dreamed of making your own games, this could be the easiest way to make that dream come true.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: there's a definate learning curve to making your own levels

Not bad. Now where's the live action version?

This movie is best if you're able to mentally seperate it from the animated series, which is someone difficult since the style is the same. They've changed the look of a number of the characters, but the art style should've been different to help seperate the difference.

Just a rental

This movie was way over hyped as a bridge between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. While there are some of the same characters and it helps to establish Batman as Gotham's hero, it really doesn't have much of any direct ties to the movies. As much as I love Kevin Conroy's Batman from the animated series, I also thought he was miscast in this movie. The different art style and universe it's set in just feel like they should've gone with someone else.
What's great about it: gives a little connection between Begins and Dark Knight
What's not so great: There's very little connection

From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes a thrilling battle between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. When their epic struggle comes to Earth, all that stands between the Decepticons and ultimate power is a clue held by young Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf). Unaware that he is mankind's last chance for survival, Sam and Bumblebee, his robot disguised as a car, are in a heart-pounding race against an enemy unlike anything anyone has seen before. It's the incredible, breath-taking film spectacular that USA Today says 'will appeal to the kid in all of us'.

High Def huge freakin' robots

I had my doubts about Bay's vision of the Transformers, but this movie had me excited for the sequel. Although there is some very odd things said by the robots, like, "I AM MEGATRON!" (seriously, how many people go around saying "I AM JOHN SMITH!") all in all, this movie is awesome. The humans in the film are great and to see the robots in action is fantastic. That said, I'm a huge fan of the extras and if you are too, you'll want to get this Blu Ray. It's got a load more stuff than even the special edition of the DVDs.

Plot? What plot? it's stand up comedy! That aside, this was my introduction to Jeff Dunham and should be yours too. Peanut and Walter are instant favorites and be sure to watch the extras, they're hilarious and show you how Jeff thinks on his feet.

Three MK games for $30? You can't go wrong!

This one is a no brainer so long as you like MK games. You get the best of the MK series (yes, I'm including the new PS3 game) for only $30. The controls and camera are funky a little in Shaolin Monks, but aside from that, 5 stars all the way down.

With a new and improved fighting engine and more characters than any previous Mortal Kombat game, this latest volume in one of the greatest video game franchises delivers more intense fighting action than ever before. More than 50 characters, including old favorites such as Liu Kang, Shang Tsung and Shao Khan, and new, fully customizable fighters give you more combat options. As if that weren't enough, the Kreate-a-Fighter mode lets you create your own fighter with the deepest level of customization ever seen in a Mortal Kombat game.Other features unique to this edition include the Kreate-a-Fatality mode, which allows you to create your own fatality using a combination of moves that can be recalled with a series of button combos. The Konquest mode is also unique to this game, letting you embark on a full-blown adventure between fights. As Armageddon approaches, only one fighter will be left standing. Will that fighter be you?

Last great MK game on the PS2, but get the 3 pack

Keeping this quick, since it's an old game. It's great, the last truly great MK game on the PS2, but now you can get this one, Deadly Alliance AND Shaolin Monks for only $10 more, so why not? I would definately get this one over the one on the PS3, but spend the extra money for the triple pack and you can thank me later.

Fun, but not worth $60
on November 22, 2008

I love Mortal Kombat. It's the game that got me into fighting games. I love DC comics. An issue of Detective is the reason I started collecting. So it sucks that this game seems to have been sold on the idea that it would sell regardless because of those two genres. Don't get me wrong, it's fun. I don't care about the fatalities being toned down or completely gone in the case of the heroes, I'm comparing this game to the ones that were put out for the PS2 and though the graphics are easily better, and the plot is enjoyable, there is very little to keep you playing. There's no extras to speak of, no krypt, no adventure mode (the story mode is okay, but nothing compared to the adventure modes of past), no mini games, no create-a-fighter... nothing. If you want a good MK game, you should get MK: Armageddon, unless you absolutely need to play as the Joker (which is hilarious, but still not worth the money). This game is a solid rental though.
What's great about it: DC characters and MK fighters in one game!
What's not so great: Not nearly as much put in as past games.

Great, not perfect

The story starts out great and has a nice twist toward the end, but the gameplay, like most FPSs, gets repetative, even with all the powers you get, there's very little variety after a while and you just wait to find out how things end.
What's great about it: Great story, design
What's not so great: Gets repetative

How can I buy the AC/DC Live rock band pack? It doesn't seem to be available on the PS Store.

Go to an actual, brick and mortor store and pick it up. It's that simple.

Does the Wii play DVD's?

Sadly, no. Kinda pointless though since most everyone at this point has a DVD player or a different system that will play them.

what is the difference between rockband and guitarhero which is better

Rock Band has multiple instuments (two guitars, drums, and a microphone) and has songs that have been programed to make use of all those instruments. With Guitar Hero, you use just that. A guitar and only a guitar. The songs weren't created with the other instruments in mind, but with Rock Band, you don't have to use all the instuments if you don't want to or don't have the people there at the moment.
