The most fun in this game is just driving around, but they inhibit that soooo much. The next game needs to take out the idea of cops just driving around. Its sooooo annoying that all you do is sit there, probably doing something else, and you immediately begin a chase.
make the difficulty easier, its frustrating how many corners my car could fly off of....and while the others are made of lead and stone yours is made of feathers and wind, meaning that if another car touches you, you donut, lose control, and automatically lose the race.

Need for Speed started going stale somewhere between Underground 2 and Most Wanted, and doesn't seem to be getting any better. The real fun in NFS is driving over a giant sandbox, not in circuits in which crashing will cause the screen to lose focus and your car to immediately begin sucking. If you want a realistic motorsport experience, play Forza Motorsport or Gran Turismo, but please game developers, just make Underground 3 if you are going to keep pummeling the same horse.

Wanted, at least to me, was a movie that defined my generation. Lots of violence, fiction mixed with reality, and the frailty of life. Sadly, the game fails to capture the intensity and pacing of the movie, and replaces it instead with an obnoxious cover system that reminds me so gruesomely of Gears of War. Sometimes you will die because you tried to move forward before realizing that spot was open to enemy fire. Instead of leaping to a new place, you instead have to stand up, possibly deal with the enemy three feet sticking multiple metal slugs into your brain, and hide again. In this time the enemy generally has time to simultaneously launch an all out killing-frenzy-attack with none other than an cluster (?) of bullets.
that said, this game is worth it for the sake of curving bullets into the brains of people in slow motion. You will never see that again, and if you do, not only will I eat my socks but they will also sue for infringement. wait for the price to go down a bit and buy a copy

HAWX can best be described as a flight simulator developed by a creative artist and an avid fan of the Ace Combat series. Ace Combat certainly does a decent job with its controls and such, but the inherent issue with the dogfight in it has only one reliable method of fighting: turn fights. Sadly, HAWX does not really improve on that issue. In the flight mode, Assistance ON and OFF change the view between cockpit view and a distance view. In this mode, the plane is (or at least seems) much more agile and capable as a dogfighter, but is difficult to control. The plane never is able to line up correctly with its target because it is hard to tell when it will be line, or the plane will roll farther than necessary.
If you want to experience flying, get the demo, play it thru three or four times, then jump of a cliff. at least that would be more exciting.
What's great about it: The freedom of air combat
What's not so great: The adjustments from Ace Combat

it depends on what you like. i personally do not like the hud. having your enemies flash in red diamonds is extremely easy to hit at times and completely unrealistic. other than that, its pretty good

I really did not expect to say this, but Assassins Creed has a lot of problems. A combat game curve with the counter strike attack that feels like Im falling off a cliff is not good (cuz you hold RT and we they attack jam X until they die horrifically), and neither is changing weapons mid-fight (as it turns out, since it doesn't really work anyway). Sometimes you will forget to lock on or off your opponents at key parts and will end up dead because the screen became a seizure of white and red light when your opponents cut you to pieces. The methods of getting information are annoyingly similar with little variety, making it feel repetitive. Still...it's incredibly fun to shank guards and hop along rooftops, which is all most of it is so I love it.
What's great about it: moving around and assassinating
What's not so great: frankly, a lot of small things
