Truly an all in one at a reasonable price.

It was probably me but my set up of this remote did not go as well as most people posted. I did figure it out though and total set up time was less than 20 minutes. That is the only thing I have to say negative about this remote and it's not that negative!
I also picked up the PS3 adapter so now all of my components are truly run by one remote. All my old controllers are still sitting in a drawer nearby but, since I started using the 650, I have not reached for a single one of them. Navigating through the various devices and commands is very simple. The one touch "activities" commands have worked flawlessly for me. At this price point I am not only happy but sincerely impressed with the performance of this remote control. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is the set up issues which in all fairness could have been my lack of technical savvy. If money is tight and your tired of the remote control jungle....pull the trigger on this model and I suspect you will be completely satisfied.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate and use
What's not so great: Set up didn't go as well for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A waste of money

Each week when I try to use this washer I feel ripped off all over again. I did not do my research and I am suffering for it. What others have posted about this model are very true. The unit may look nice and has a reasonable price tag but that is where the positives end. I just spent 2 1/2 hours trying to do one load of laundry that should have taken about one hour. The unit just can not seem to balance loads for the spin cycle. If you do not have the magic quantity of identical garments this machine loses it. The unit is level, shipping bolts removed, it's just a piece of garbage. I should have taken $800 and flushed it down the toilet. At least I would have saved the frustration this piece of trash is causing me. Good thing is, when it does manage to spin, it shakes so hard it should fall apart in no time. Next time, and I don't expect it will be long, I will do my research.
What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Everything

Worked for me

I was considering replacement of my 5 disc CD player and a separate CD recorder. Both were over 5 years old and having trouble reading some discs during playback. The recorder would often refuse to "see" a blank CD complaining that there was no audio disc inserted. Thankfully before replacing the decks I decided to give this cleaner a try. Both decks are now operating like new. The cleaner disc was incredibly simple to use. Obviously this disc won't help you if your problem goes beyond a dirt issue but at only ten buck it is worth a try. Now I will use it at regular intervals and who knows how much more service life I will get from these components.
What's great about it: It did what it claimed to and at a good price
What's not so great: Nothing

Good performer and a solid value.

If you have owned and operated a VCR this DVD recorder will be a no brainer for you. I had it up and running in about 10 minutes without looking at the manual. Very simple to operate and program. The unit looks good and the menu system is easy to navigate. On the down side it is a bit loud when it spins up a DVD disc. The only other downside I found is finalizing a disc takes a bit of time. To be honest this is my first DVD recorder so this is only my impression. I would plan on about five minutes for this function. All in all this is an excellent value. I am still impressed at how well the unit performs, it's ease of operation, good looks, and low price. If you are an average user like myself I can't see you being unhappy with this unit.
What's great about it: Very easy set up, easy to use
What's not so great: Can be loud. Finalizing a disc is slow

Easy assembly, great price, and they look good

I read some of the reviews about difficulty assembling these stands. Although I did use a cordless driver, I did not have any problems what so ever. Both stands were out of the box and assembled within a half an hour. Once together they feel solid and look great. The hardest part of assembly was wrapping the plastic sheet that covers the speaker wire. If you lay the stand down even this step is not very difficult. I am happy with these especially when you factor in the price. If your looking for a reasonably priced, solid, good looking stand this is a great choice.
What's great about it: Nice looking and solid feel.
What's not so great: At this price, nothing!!

Does free shipping mean that it comes dellvered to my door, the street level and do I have to be home to receive it?

I live in a two unit building. Mine was left at my door (upstairs) by UPS and I did not have to be home for delivery.
