Better than the X-Men trilogy!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine attempts to correct my biggest complaint about the X-Men trilogy of films: the lack of an origin story. Hugh Jackman's performance is, arguably, the best thing about the X-Men film series. It's great to see Jackman given the opportunity to really shine on his own.
After hearing mixed things about this particular film, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I actually liked it better than the X-Men trilogy.
To get technical, this Blu-ray looks and sounds great. The Picture quality is a solid 4.5/5 and the Audio is a perfect 5/5.

Best way to enjoy the three original X-Men films

The X-Men trilogy is responsible for kick-starting the current wave of popular and successful superhero films. While these 3 films can be a little uneven at times, they set the bar all modern comic book films that have followed.
The only true issue I have with these films, is the viewer is expected to have some knowledge of the X-Men prior to seeing the first film. The origin story isn't really explored as much as in other comic book to film adaptations.
From a technical point of view, these Blu-rays are solid. Both Picture and Audio Quality are a solid 4/5.
For the price, the trilogy box set is the best way to enjoy the original three X-Men films.
