SynopsisSkateboarding reaches new heights in Project 8, another brain child from an athlete who almost single-handedly redefined the sport. Ultrarealistic graphics, enhanced physics and super-responsive controls simulate the high-flying feeling of skating with every sick trick and gnarly bail. You'll have to roll out your big bag of tricks against some of the world's ace skaters to become number one while locked in the intense, lifelike competition held on several heavy obstacle courses.Experience more goals, side missions and secret areas during hours of trick-based gameplay. Wickedly detailed character animations with realistic reactions on and off their boards, an all-new physics system, the breakthrough Bail mode and the ability to move ramps and rails throughout the city combine for an all-encompassing thrill ride. Blaze through photo shoot locations while watching yourself in picture-in-picture to get the best-looking shot as you try to claim high-roller status. Rad 3D body scans of pro athletes and motion-captured skateboard tricks add to the gravity-defying action, while new in-game record keeping lets you track your stats.

this is a great game. the graphics are next gen. although some times it tends to glitch. nothing major.the controls are great as well. just like the rest of the tony hawk games. I really enjoy the dual stick controls in the up close controls. and for the price, it is a great buy. I am not sure how it measures up to skate as I have not played it. but thi is still a good game to own. I recommend this game.
the only down fall for this game is it does take a little getting use to. but hey, all games do. go out and purchase this game, you won't be dissapointed.
What's great about it: graphics, gameplay, price
What's not so great: learning curve

this is a really good game. the graphics in this game are top notch. they really show the power of the playstation 3 system. the gameplay is good. you can even use the motion senor to steer your vehicle.
there aren't that many differnet levels. they change the same level alot by changing the time of day it is. making it pretty much the same level. you can choose a variety of different vehicles, such as fire trucks, motorcycles, cars, trucks, dune buggies, atv's. and you can change basically the look of your vehicle only three different types.
But this game is great even though it has flaws. I highly recommend it. you won't be dissappointed in the purchase of this game.
What's great about it: graphics, gameplay
What's not so great: not many levels, lack of different typs of vehicles

this is a great game. the graphics are next generation and very detailed. the story is great too as well as the humor of it all. the gameplay is top notch and easy to use. even the motion controls are well used in the small parts of the game. the game will take awhile to beat. I am half ways in the game and have been playing it already for around 12 hours. so the longtivity is quite well. also the weapons you have at your dissposal is great and lots to choose from. my favorite is the one thats like a lightining whip type weapon.
the difficulty isn't that hard, nor is it easy, kind of in between. Like I said I'm halfways and stuck. you might want to pick up the strategy guide if purchasing this game. I'm sure it will help alot. this is one title you should get if buying or already purchased the playstation 3. highly recommend!!
What's great about it: graphics, story, gameplay, length of game
What's not so great: difficulty

This is probably the best zelda game to date. better than ocrania of time. the controls are fairly simple to pick up and play. swing the wii remote to slash your sword, and the nun chuck stick to move around. also swinging the nun chuck makes link do a spin attack. the buttons on the nun chuck are for looking around, while the wii remote are for picking up items and navigating through you items. the story is great as well. it will keep you intrested and wanting to find out what happens next. the length of the game is around 40 hours of actual game play I think. I am about halfways in the game and have put about 20 or so hours into it. so I think it is rather long. the graphics in this game are as good as the gamecube graphics, but nothing bad.
the difficultly in this game is kind of hard, especially if you do not have a strategy guide to help you like me. but this is a great game, if you own a nintendo wii go out and buy this game you won't be dissapointed.

this game is awesome. the graphics are great. maybe the best I've seen in any playstation 3 to date, (maybe on par with metal gear solid 4). the gameplay is just like all the other call of duty games, no suprise there, but why fix that which ain't broken. the assortment of weapons in this game are cool, you even get to try out weapons that don't even exisit. which makes for some cool gameplay.
the difficulty ain't that hard, but ain't simple either. I beat the game in about 13 hours without using a strategy guide or help of any kind. this game will keep you at the edge of your seat until the very end. and after you beat the game you get an extra level to play after the credits finish. which is kind of cool. buy this game, its worth it. it will keep you busy until call of duty 5 comes out, which I believe will be just as good as this game is.
What's great about it: graphics, gameplay, weapons
What's not so great: somewhat difficulty

this game is great. the graphics in this game are top notch, next gen. the story is also good, it will not cause you to lose interest. and the controls are great as well, but the only problem with the controls is there is to much to remember on how to do different things with your character. and then the mkII has its own control scheme which makes things more difficult. but once you've played it for around an hour or so, you will get the hang of it. this is a must buy game, I highly recommend it. this is the reason why I purchased a playstation 3. buy it!!!

heavenly sword is a must buy. the graphics in this game are amazing if played on an high definition tv. but still looks good on a regular tv. the graphics are compared to uncharted drakes fortune if not a little worse. but still looks good. the story in this game will keep you hooked until the very end, and after you beat it, you'll be wanting a sequel rather soon. the gameplay in this game is great, but takes a little getting use to. the attack buttons in this game are kinda confusing such as there are 3 different types of attack, strong, middle, and weak. when you hit one of the attack buttons nariko's swing changes color telling you which one you used. now when blocking, you must use the approprieate attack button to block, this gets a little getting use to, trying to remember which attack is which, but nothing major. the game is kinda on the short side. I was able to beat the game in about 10-12 hours. perhaps I wish it could have been a little longer, but I guess that what sequels are for. had didn't have much of a problem beating the game, like I said after you get use to the controls, the game is quite simple.

I purchased this game about 6 months ago and have beaten it. the story in the game will keep you wanting to play on and on just to see what will happen next. I couldn't ask for a better story in a game. the graphics in this game are cool, on par with heavenly sword if not better. the gameplay is awesome as well, its like playing any other third person next generation shooter.
I was able to beat this game in about 10 to 12 hours of actual gameplay. leaving you to want more, from the game. I am hoping they make a part 2 to this game. I highly reccomend this game to anyone who likes exploring, puzzle solving, and straight up fire fights. You won't be dissapointed in the purchase of this game even though it is a little on the short side.
What's great about it: story, graphics, gameplay
What's not so great: kinda short, wanting more

What is the difference between a Nintendo DS and a Nintendo DS Lite?

the difference in ds and ds lite is that first the buttons are bigger and the internal microphone is now in the center. also the ds lite is better in the ways that you now have a brighter screen than on the original. they both still play ds and gameboy advance games. but the ds lite is just better do to the fact that the screens are brighter. I would recommend you get the ds lite. also the shape of the two systems are made different. but the ds lite is more comfortable. hope this help you out.

Does best buy do repairs on xbox360?

My disk drive stopped working and wont read any disk or dvd i put in it. Also i was wondering if you get the Hd dvd player plays games or only hd dvds?
I'm not sure how to fix it myself but you can always call xbox customer service and they should repair it for free. especially since they have the extended warrenty availible. my xbox 360 broke around june so I called them and sent in the system and around 3 weeks later it was fixed. not only that but they updated my system. they are nice people and won't give you any trouble. also if you were to purchase the hd dvd player for the xbox 360 it will only play the movies. but wait on that, because I here that they will becoming out with a blu-ray player soon. hope this answered your question.

is gears of war 2 co-op without xbox live

does it have co-op without having to get xbox live
I believe so. just like in the first one, you can play 2 players at the same time. in gears of war 2, it would be dumb not to have it. especially since I don't have xbox live and would like to play with a friend.
