Thrice is one of the very few bands that i really enjoy listening to because after writing and creating music for close to 10 years, they have evolved and become more confident in their abilities as musicians and songwriters. And I believe this shows with "Live at the House of Blues" This 2 hour long roller coaster ride covering material that goes back to "The Illusion of Safety" all the way up to their latest release, "The Alchemy Index, Vols. III & IV, Air and Earth" is just flat out AMAZING. The sound quality is top-notch, as is the bands ability to mix fan favorites like "Deadbolt" and "All That's Left" with new hits like "Come All You Weary" and "Digital Sea". There is nothing lost in transition. The only downside is that there are no tracks from the band's first "official" album, "Identity Crisis", but fans should try to look past this and enjoy it for what it is. I found the last copy that my local Best Buy had in stock, and I am so grateful. I highly recommend this not just as a fan of the band Thrice, but as a music lover in general. GET THIS NOW!!!
What's great about it: Blends older, edgier material with newer mellow, intricate songs while keeping the production value high.
What's not so great: Doesn't include songs from thier first album, Identity Crisis.
