Solid solution for nearly wireless rear speakers

This wireless rear speaker kit works well to power my definitive technology BP2x rear speakers which are fairly powerful speakers. The setup was simple, just plug the rear speaker wires from the receiver into the sender. Place the receiver at the back of the room and plug it into the wall. Connect rear speakers to the receiver and turn both sender and receiver on.
I detected no signal noise, interference or degradation. The sound from the rear speakers is clean and well defined. I did however think that the sound was thinner than I normally experienced when connected directly to the receiver. The wattage available is only about 20 watts per channel so if you have inefficient speakers or the rear speakers are placed far from the listening position then this system is not for you.
What's great about it: Simple plug and play design, no more wires running to the back of the room
What's not so great: Thin sounding, needs more power, popping sound when not fed a signal
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great surround speaker depending on room size

The definitive technologies pro monitor and procenter speakers are a marvel of modern technology. Even after four months I am still amazed at how truly amazing and powerful the sound is out of such a small speaker. The speakers profile is very small and easy to blend into the decor of most living rooms (the wife will definately like the small profile).
The sound is powerful with great midrange and deep bass that is extended by the passive radiators. The only real negative I can think of is that the high frequencies tend to sound a little shrill or sharp when the speaker receives a very high watt signal. This should not affect most real world users but I would not reccommend using this speaker in a moderately large home theatre where the room dimension are greater than 20x20 and you want to play at reference level volume.
What's great about it: Clear, accurate and powerful midrange with good bass
What's not so great: Slightly shrill and sharp high frequencies when pushed
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exceptional speaker

The Definitive Technologies CLR2002 speaker is a wonderful speaker designed for anyone who has the space to place it appropriately. This speaker takes up a large footprint space on an entertainment rack but the sound you get from it is just phenomenal. Mumbled and poorly recorded dialog in movies are still clear and the speaker can play deeper than most other centers I have tested that do not have a built in subwoofer. This speaker is more than capable when asked to play extremely loud and so would be appropriate for larger home theatre installations.
If you have the space and money for this speaker you will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Fantastic vocal clarity, great dynamic range, crisp clear sound throughout the frequency spectrum
What's not so great: Extremely large
I would recommend this to a friend!
