Read the fine print - these are not DVD labels !

This label is not designed for use on DVDs. Memorex disclaims this use in the fine print on the rear of the package. The package label clearly states "CD Label Refills." The heat in a DVD player/recorder is greater than that in a CD player. The heat can cause the label to bubble, etc. Also, this label causes an out-of-balance condition, to which DVDs are sensitive. The web is replete with cautions about this type of label on a DVD. I am surprised that Best Buy touts this as a DVD label, because it isn't !! I had to re-do 60 DVDs on which I used these labels. My DVDs skipped and distorted the image. I wish that I could recover the dollars that Memorex cost me!
These labels are fine for a CD - but I have switched to LightScribe CD and DVD - that is the way to go. I found the HP LightScribe drive on the web for about $25. However - as of this writing, Best Buy does not stock LightScribe DVD-R, only the +R.
What's great about it: O.K. for use on CDs
What's not so great: In the print on the rear of the package, Memorex disclaims the use of these labels on a DVD
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
