Guaranteed Satisfaction!!!!

Royce da 5'9, Joe Budden, Crooked I, & Joel Ortiz wreck the microphone and show these lame rappers out today how its done. This is probably the best rap CD of 2009. Its definitely Top 3. To all the Hip-Hop heads - This is a must have.
What's great about it: The Best Group of MCs since The Wu-Tang Clan!
What's not so great: MAYBE 1 or 2 tracks are not great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best Solo Rap Album of the Year...Easy!

Top 5 MCs doin' it right now. Originality. Tracks 1,6,7,10,14,15,16,18 are amazing. His group SlaughterHouse CD is just as tight if not better.
What's great about it: Superior lyrics, great production, originality
What's not so great: maybe too many tracks:-)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Soul Music

I got the Deluxe Edition and it is definitely worth it. The 1st CD is cool and well worth coping. However, the bonus CD (Deluxe Edition) takes this purchase to such a higher level. I think this could have been a bonafide classic if he took a couple of OK-tracks off CD #1 and replaced them with a couple from the bonus disc. But be clear, this is a very good CD.
What's great about it: Great original soul music
What's not so great: a couple of slip ups
I would recommend this to a friend!

Album Is Incredible
By David1983
This album is set to only sell about 50k in the 1st week? I cant believe real hip hop fans are not buying this album. I hope those who complain about the music today realize you have to actually go and buy an album to support their music of choice. I just hope the album at least goes gold. Im not even going to hold my breathe in anticipation of them winning a grammy (Real Music Doesnt Win 4 Some Strange Reason). Well the CD is worth more than $9 ( I bought 2). Enjoy and tell ppl about this truley gr8 album...

Well-Worth It
June 15, 2010
This is a banging CD from start to finish. Well worth what ever we are paying for todays new releases. Nas' lyrics are definitely on point and Jr. Gong has brought it just hard if not harder. Lots of thought provoking music put together here and leaves you very satisfied.

One of thier best releases yet...
By Jalee77 from Washington, D.C.
I really enjoyed this album. I am a long time Roots fan and I've purchased all of thier albums since 'The Tipping Point'. This one was instantly my favorite. The way they always seem to come up with fresh beats accompanied by conscientious wordplay while at the same time staying true to thier 'root' audience (Pun Intended), makes them hip-hop pioneers in a genre full of wanna-bes and talentless posers. Thank you to the Roots for consistently producing quality music. You've got a lifetime fan!

Very Good
July 20, 2010
The Roots are Hip-Hop Royalty. As a matter of fact, they are Music Royalty. One of the most talented bands doin' it. Black Thought is such an underrated/ under appreciated MC. This release is great. With original sounds and thought provoking lyrics, this 11 songs + 3 interludes set wins BIG. Of course, with that said like 80+ % of today big releases it is shorter than past CDs.

There isn't one song I don't like
By ramon3535
I've been a fan of Slaughterhouse since their first mixtape. Since the first album was so good, I had low expectations for this album, but I was so wrong. They have a mixtape that came out a week before this album called On the House. I'm pretty sure none of the songs on that mixtape were on this album.
Now about the album. It's 20 tracks of pure hotness! I especially love the songs Coffin and Asylum. I was expecting not to like a lot of the tracks on the album since it's so long, but there wasn't a single song I didn't like. There were 2 songs that I thought were good, but not hot like the rest of the album. I'm glad I bought this album. Not too many albums coming out lately that are actually good.

Satisfied but was Expecting Better.
September 25, 2012
Lyrically speaking, these 4 MCs will demolish the so-called competition. Should not have been so much production from Eminem. With 20 tracks on the Deluxe Edition, I definitely appreciate the abundance of MC-ing going on but some of the beats were lacking, if not wack. The Slaughterhouse Mixtapes were all better than this. But definitely worth checking out for the awesome flows.
