Just your typical replacement hoses for a new washing machine. I haven't seen any leaking, and it connected to old fittings in the house. I have well water, so time will tell if it can handle the minerals in the water.

A good HE machine

I spent months looking for a new washing machine, while the old one was dying. I finally decided on the LG because I could get the best price and features, and hope for a long term machine. BB had the best price I could find, and the shipping was free. I did not want a HE machine, because the reviews have been hit and miss, and did not want to be "locked out" in adding clothes after the cycles began, or have clothes come out dirty. The traditional washing machine to match my dryer had poor reviews with the electronics. It was a difficult decision. The set up was quick and easy for their staff, and I spent more than a few minutes reading the instructions. It has multiple choices for cycles, and will let you know how long your chosen cycle will take to complete. I've used a couple of the shorter cycles, as the "long" cycles can take over an hour to finish. (So plan ahead!) The machine is quiet, and plays a little tune when done. I've watched the water levels, and it seems to always cover the clothing, and the clothes do come out clean. The tub is deep however, and I need to stand on something to reach the bottom. (I'm 5'0.) I've used it now for about a month, and so far, I'm happy with the purchase. LG usually makes a good product, and I hope this machine will last for years.

What's not so great: tub is too deep, most cycles are long
