This is a very well put together game. From the gameplay, graphics, sound and story you can definitely tell this game was given a lot of attention. The locations are lifelike and all of the treasures are very well researched and rendered lifelike. The only drawback to the game is that with some effort and no kids around, can be beaten in under 24 hours on hard.
For all of you trophy hunters, this is an easy platinum game and can be done in under 3 days.
What's great about it: Graphics, Story, Gameplay
What's not so great: Very short story/game, can be beaten in 24 hours

Great First Person Shooter

This was first foray into shooters since Goldeneye and I was not disappointed! Set in futuristic Mars, RFG delivers on all aspects of gameplay, from story to weapons and replay value, this game is it! I especially enjoyed the backpacks in multiplayer; it's a lot of fun to Rhino someone and give them the business end of the WarHammer! For all trophy hunters this Platinum is an 8 out of 10 as the online XP is hard to attain and it took me about 2 months of casual online play to get the required items done. I also did it with no boosting, all skill. Trophy difficulty aside, a great game that is well done and successfully brought me back to shooters!
What's great about it: Gameplay, Graphics, Weapons, Story
What's not so great: Platinum Trophy is tough, but worth it!

Best Batman Game, EVER!

This is by far the best Batman/Superhero game ever created. The story is a very dark, twisted tale based on the DC Comics. BB:AA has no affiliation with the "cartoonish" movies! The game gives you excellent back stories on about 30 characters from the entire saga, fun challenges from the riddler and Mark Hamill as the Joker! For all trophy seekers this Platinum will take about 2 weeks of causal work but is easily attained after you master the Free Flow Combo system (which is awesome by the way!). A must have for any collection, you will not be disappointed!
What's great about it: Story, Graphics, Gameplay, EVERYTHING
What's not so great: ummmmm........NOTHING

Another great game in Street Fighter genre!

This is a great game for any fan of the genre. It has all of the classic characters and incorporates several from across the series. The 4 new characters are interesting to say the least. The online game is very smooth and there is very little freezing up or disconnecting.
There are some major drawbacks though, first, Seth is worst finishing boss in the series. He is easily defeated with a simple combo repeated over and over again; it makes me long for Gill or Bison as the finisher. Playing online is very difficult since everyone picks the shoryuken fighters and they use MK, MP, LP and LK over and over again. When you play online you are randomly matched with a player, most of the time you will be assigned a pro (1200 Battle Points or more) and they will always pick Ken or Ryu and do the same thing over and over again. There is no way to "preview" who you are fighting. There is also no other way to set up custom matches, it would be nice to set up matches with certain characters to be excluded to level the playing field. Several of the trophies are EXTREMELY hard to complete, including Challenge Expert, No Challenge Too Hard, Technical Fighter, Title Master, Icon Master, Playing to Win and The Gold Standard. It takes an average player several months to unlock. If you don’t' have the Championship edition fight stick, this makes these even harder to unlock.
This game is great for casual players and fans of the series; but for those who are looking for a platnium, look elsewhere, this one takes too long.
What's great about it: Characters, classic 2D fighting style, online is smooth
What's not so great: Terrible last boss, too many cheap online fighters

Johnny Depp's Most Underated Movie!

Johnny Depp plays this role perfectly! Nine Gates has smooth plot flow, excellent story telling and top acting. There is little to no action, this movie is all about story and as the description says, this movie is for adult audiences only. Frank Langella and Lena Olin have supporting roles that are acted with precision, poise and an evil grace! This movie is recommended for those who are Depp fans and for those who are looking for a solid story line with plenty of twists and turns! The symphony soundtrack that accompanies this movie is top notch and Sumi Jo's soprano voice carries beautifully.
The only draw back to this release is that there are little or no extras on the disc. You get an up close look at the drawings and some commentary but nothing else.
What's great about it: Psychological thriller with smooth story line!
What's not so great: Very little extras for Blu-Ray release.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm so glad I upgraded to this iMac. All of my files were on a WD 500GB external hard drive and it took all of 1 hour to set up my iTunes, iPhoto, etc. iPhoto face recognition software is phenomal! It only took 2 days of work to transfer, set up and organize 4K pics! It was too easy, left me plenty of time to work with all the other great features! My only gripe is that after dropping $2,000; Apple want's an extra $99 a year for Mobile Me, that should be included for free. WINDOWS IS GARBAGE!! Spend the extra coin and get a Mac, you will not be disappointed!
What's great about it: EVERYTHING!!
What's not so great: Mobile Me should be included for free

Worst Version of the Game, 08 is way better

I had high expectations for this one, but RTTS is a total and complete failure this year. The training aspect on my game doesn't work, you'll see your player walk up to the cage or to the base, but he vanishes and I have to exit and I don't get any credit.
Second, the new baserunning mechanic is terrible, if you don't time your slide right, your character will stop and it takes 1-2 seconds for him to run again. When you round 2nd or 3rd the carmera rotates and if you don't rotate the stick correctly, it will cause your runner to stop or even go back.
Finally, hitting is soo hard, it makes you not want to play. When you guess the pitch right, right location, in the wheelhouse with a power swing; a fly ball would be nice, all you ever get is ground outs or infield flies. I want to have authentic gaming experience as much as the next guy, but a little fun and a homerun is nice too. If you want fun stick with 08, if you want to replace your controller from throwing it down, buy 09.
What's great about it: Ball is highlighted red when it's hit, makes fielding eaiser
What's not so great: Everything about RTTS, baserunning, training, hitting
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've spoken to the geek squad at my NorCal Best Buy and they say refurbished are few and far between and are usually gone within 24 hours. You really have to get lucky and be in the store when it hits.

is there somekind of item that connects to your tv or gaming system (ps3) that prevents lagging, and keeps you from having trouble on getting online and not having to try repeatedly just to get online to play a game
If your having issues connecting, you need to dedicate the wireless router solely to the gaming system. At my house I have 1 computer and it's plugged in via ethernet cable and the PS3 which runs off the WiFi (Linksys "G" series router). If you run too many items off the WiFi, it's going to run slow. If you can't/won't do it, make sure all other items that are connected to the router are TURNED OFF, don't put them to "sleep", they must be turned of or disable the WiFi while your gaming. Only other option is to upgrade your router, but be careful, WiFi routers that can do this cost big $$$$.

Here are the pros and cons for both
PS3 Pros- Up to 250GB HD, Free Online gaming via PSN, BLURAY PLAYER, Netflix Compatible up to 1080p graphics/7.1 surround sound, no red ring of death, easily upgradable HD.
PS3 Cons- Price tag (up to $350 250 GB HD), still a brick weight wise, since online is free some issues with gaming.
XBOX Pros- Up to 150 GB HD, much cheaper, lighter system, up to 1080i 5.1 surround sound, Netflix compatible, easily upgradable HD, a lot easier to mod and upgrade and XBOX live is far superior for online gaming, however it costs up to $60/year depending on package
XBOX Cons- RED RING OF DEATH (sure it's replaced for free but no gaming for 15-30 days while it's getting repaired SUCKS!) Only plays DVD's.
What it really boils down to is what you are going to do with the system; If you are a hard core online shooter gamer, XBOX would be the way to go. If your a medium to light online gamer go with the PS3, a lot less problems and it's got a Blu-ray. If you get the XBOX your going to spend an additional $100+ for a blu ray, why not take that additional $$$ and put it towards a PS3.

what is a DNS error
im having trouble connecting my ps3 to the internet and it tells me that it is a DNS error. What is that?
If you are using wireless internet make sure that the PS3 is only system hooked up to it. If you are running multiple computers and gaming systems it can cause it to run slow and generate the error message. Only other way is to turn off (not standby) all other "systems" running. Hope this helps.
