Simple & Great Storage Update

Right off the bat the packaging is conservative but protects the product well and isn’t a pain to get into. Included in the packaging is the SSD itself, pamphlet but an important thing to note is that there are no instructions included with this product! I had to do some research on YouTube and google in order to figure out how to install the product, although after figuring out how it was done, the installation process was pretty simple. All-in-all I would say that this product is not difficult to install. On a scale of one to five, with one being extremely easy and five being extremely difficult, I would rate this product at a 2. The only trouble I had was fiddling a bit with the SSD when actually installing it (a bit of difficulty figuring out up from down), and removing the side plates on the PlayStation, but otherwise the installation went smoothly with no damage or troubles. The only items you will need when installing your new SSD is a small Phillips head screwdriver, and a way to help keep track of screws. A steady, gentle hand helps as well, as while it is difficult to lose a screw in the PlayStation 5, it is still possible.
First, the PlayStation 5 system must be completely shut off, and unplugged. Next, the bottom support plate that keeps the PlayStation 5 upright must be removed, which is easily done by removing a single large screw. The next step is to remove the rear side plate on the PlayStation, which is the side that does not have PlayStation’s logo on it. This is where I ran into a bit of trouble and had to finesse the plate a bit in order to get it off. This is done by lifting up gently on the topmost portion of the plate, then sliding it forward and off. This reveals the inner portions of the PlayStation, as well as a convenient gray metal plate that covers where the SSD is going to go. This plate can be removed by a single screw (don’t lose it!). After this plate is removed, the SSD slot is visible, as well as a “spacer screw”. This screw helps keep the SSD secure and keeps it from moving. After removing the spacer screw, all I had to do was slot the SSD into place, which will make an affirming click, and then re-installing the spacer screw to secure the SSD in place. Afterwards, the gray cover can be replaced, and the PlayStation 5, re-assembled. After the PlayStation is booted up for the first time after installing the SSD, it will format your new SSD automatically for you, making you do less work. This lets you instantly gain access to your additional 2 terabytes of storage, as well as the performance boost granted by this product.
Installation took approximately 5 to 10 minutes and was relatively simple. I have very little tech-savvy skills and know-how and have never once taken apart a computer or a PlayStation, yet thanks to the intuitiveness of both the PlayStation 5 system, and Western Digital’s simple design, I managed to install this product with ease, and it was honestly kind of fun! Now onto the performance. Before installing this product my PlayStation 5 had relatively fast load times, and little stuttering and buffering when either playing videogames or watching shows. However, after installing the Western Digital SSD, the improvements I saw were instant.
Installation took approximately 5 to 10 minutes and was relatively simple. I have very little tech-savvy skills and know-how and have never once taken apart a computer or a PlayStation, yet thanks to the intuitiveness of both the PlayStation 5 system, and Western Digital’s simple design, I managed to install this product with ease, and it was honestly kind of fun! Now onto the performance. Before installing this product my PlayStation 5 had relatively fast load times, and little stuttering and buffering when either playing videogames or watching shows. However, after installing the Western Digital SSD, the improvements I saw were instant.
Once the PlayStation formats the SSD for you, it gives you a system diagnostic of your new download and upload speeds and I noticed a huge improvement. The load times for my PlayStation 5 have been drastically reduced, and games that had the problem of painfully long load times are now a thing of the past for me. The games I play now have little to no stuttering whatsoever. Additionally, the 2 terabytes of storage let me install all of my favorite games without having to worry, while also keeping my actual console’s storage free for save-data, profiles, and screenshots/videos from my favorite gaming moments. Download times have dramatically increased as well, and updates that used to take hours now only take half the time, letting me jump back into the action twice as fast. Now even the most graphically demanding games load up with lightning speed thanks to the new SSD. This product does exactly what it is marketed to do and is well worth the cost. The product is accessible to people who may not be as technologically knowledgeable as others, and installation is easy and fun. The benefits the SSD provides well justify the cost, given the drastically improved load and download times, and additional storage space, it is a worthwhile upgrade for anyone looking to boost their gaming or streaming experience. There are also different things you can purchase to further boost your SSD’s performance! There is a heat-sink designed to adhere to the back of the SSD to help with over-heating issues. However, in my experience, heat was not an issue for my PlayStation even after hours of play. To conclude, the installation for this product was easy, simple, and only took 5 to 10 minutes even for someone with few technological knowledge. Due to the auto-formatting of the SSD the PlayStation does for you, I was able to instantly experience lightning-fast load and download times, and the massive amount of extra storage. I would rate this product 5 out of 5 stars, and highly recommend this product to anyone who loves video games as much as I do.

Got this to help with my finish and flush out my home bar set up. The size is right to fit under the bar but it can work just as well behind the bar.
Once it was plugged in only took about 2 hours to get cold and it has plenty of storage space for water, cans and even some tall boys!! The 3 inner shelves can be removed to accommodate anything however you cannot change the individual heights since the shelf placement is already fixed. I also like how it sits flush on the wall, gives it a nice clean look in my bar that doesn’t stick out and bang thighs or knees
The temperature is controlled via a rotary dial, pretty straightforward use and the interior light is bright white which again adds a nice look.
I have no doubt that this fridge would work just as well in a garage, office or dorm room but it does not have a freezer component, which isn’t a big deal for me however if that’s something you want I’m sure there’s a compatible item out there.
All in all a great item that’s highly utilitarian!!!

I got this air purifier to help keep the air in my kitchen clean and it has not disappointed. I keep this on my kitchen island near my stove and although it’s a bit bigger than I was expecting, it still sits in the room nicely.
I cook a lot of Asian dishes and I always hated the oily smell in the air after I’m done cooking but since I’ve had this filter it’s no longer a problem!! I can cook for up to 20 people at a time and it’s not uncommon for me stir/deep frying for 2+ hours and this filter has no trouble at all keeping up. Once I’m done cooking and cleaning it only takes about 7 minutes for the oily smell to disappear…that’s amazing considering it used to take hours of not overnight for it to clear.
Set up is straightforward and the same for the companion app (you’ve set one up, you’ve set them all up am I right?!). You can hear the fan when it turns on but it’s not noisy at all but it’s not whisper quiet either. It’s hard to describe but I think it’s a good balance of sound…loud enough to tell you it’s working but not loud enough to distract you from everything else that’s going on.
I also like the air quality light that gives you a good visual on of the air is clean/dirty and of course it’s HEPA certified. This has been especially nice since it’s spring and the pollening is going on
They say the filter is good for about 9 months but I expect it to run out sooner since mines working in a kitchen, hopefully I’ll get about 6 mos out of it.

Transform and Roll Out!!

This is quite possibly the best transformer ever made. Right out of the box you know you’re holding a quality item. It’s well constructed, well painted & and absolutely beautiful display piece. I love the fact that it comes with his signature weapon and his orange axe that is featured in the first season battle with Megatron.
Set up is very straightforward and you do have to charge it and the initial charge took me about two hours after that is when the real fun begins.
Optimus is fully programmable and fully possablr. If you can think it you can pose it. The best part is is it comes with the ability to be programmed into four poses so when he transforms you can choose what form. My personal favorite is being able to have them transform and then he takes a knee like he’s fighting and then you can put his gun in his hand and it’s just amazing to look at.
There’s so many different voice commands that it feels like Peter Cullen is actually inside the robot and the internal speaker is excellent…provides exceptional clarity to Optimus’ speech.
The app gives you fully customizable/control over Optimus. There’s unlimited things you can do when setting up and playing with this toy, it’s like I’m back in 1984 playing with my original!! I only wish that it came with his trailer because that would truly complete the look but this is a fantastic toy for a discerning collector and a centerpiece of anybody’s collection.

Hand Down Best Beard Trimmer!

After years of using the hair clippers (I know🤦🏻♂️) to trim my beard I decided to upgrade to the Manscsped trimmer and after using it for a week…I wish I would’ve upgraded sooner!
The packaging and carrying case is top notch, just opening it you can feel the quality. Comes with a charging block/cable & trimmer with detachable guard. The guard can be easily removed to trim skin tight and when the guard is in place, will trim in lengths from .5 to 10.
It took about an hour to fully charge and I’ve used it twice to trim my beard and it’s still operating like it was fully charged, no battery lag to be found.
I’ve discovered the best way to trim is start by going with the grain, then going against and the back with the grain. This will cut all the hairs and significantly reduce strays or flyaways. If you need to get any pesky hairs just pop the guard off and clean them up.
A nice perk is that if you remove the guard you can trim body hair with relative ease. The skin safe technology protects all the sensitive areas and if you’re inclined to rock a happy trial, this is an excellent way to get the proper hair length…highly recommend!!!

Love this Comfy Gaming Chair!

Decided to upgrade from my old, really old, chair that I had for the last 10 years and this chair does not disappoint!
Comes disassembled and it took me about 49 minutes to get it fully assembled. I was able to build it myself with relative ease. The instructions are done IKEA style and they’re not hard to follow but just beware. Only takes 1 Allen wrench and it comes with some really flimsy cloth white gloves (which I don’t feel that they needed) to protect the surface of the chair.
The quality of the fabric and fill is top notch and after using it for a week, for 2-4 hours a day, didn’t notice any depressions in the seat. The head rest and lumbar support are extra firm (which I like) and provide more than adequate support. The lumbar supports can be moved up and down the back to better support your back based on individual needs, a nice touch!
The chair comes with elevation adjustment, locking recline handle and another handle that allowed to adjust the back support to your desired “home setting.” The arm rests are 360° and move nicely to accommodate numerous elbow positions and I didn’t notice any elbow fatigue when I was using the chair.
Lastly the box included a hat and mouse pad which was a nice touch. Mouse pad is extra large and (as the box says) designed for a gaming mouse.
For never owning a true gaming chair, this has completely blown me away, I’ll never sit another boring office chair again!

I had a builders grade 3/4 horsepower disposal when my house was built and I noticed that the performance of the unit was suffering (was only 5 years old). The unit was loud and taking too long to grind food up. So I got this unit hoping that even though it’s the same horsepower, it would perform better…by far and wide, this outperforms the builders grade model.
I’m not plumbing inclined so I had a professional come out and do the install. Took about an hour and cost was on par with labor rates. I would recommend having a professional do this work, at lot of naughty words were heard and a few bloody knuckles later it was done.
Right away this unit was quieter than my original one. Even when grinding meat and other hard foods, the sound difference is significantly noticeable and it was able to chew through hard foods a few seconds earlier than the original.
I’m throughly impressed by this unit and give it my highest recommendation. If you’re looking to upgrade from a 1/2 horsepower or just looking to get a better quality disposal, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

I got this for my 9 year old son and he loves it!! I have to admit I throughly enjoyed the first couple of days of him learning how to balance on it (and the subsequent wipeouts, they were epic!) however he eventually mastered it and I can barely keep him off it.
The range is accurate (3 miles) and it even though my son feels like he’s flying it does go right around 7 mph. It takes about four hours to fully charge it and I usually just let it charge overnight however, like with most battery operated items you do need to pay attention to how long it’s on the charger so that way it doesn’t become dependent on the charger and it will extend the battery life of the Hoverboard.
The tires are durable enough. I live in an area where it’s black asphalt and he’s been riding when it’s been hot out and it doesn’t appear to affect the tires that much and with regular sidewalk you so I would believe it wouldn’t have any issues either. I have not tested this on dirt gravel however, it doesn’t look like it would stand up to it all that well so I would recommend avoiding off-roading with it.
This is definitely a great gift for any kid that likes to motor around on a hover board. It’s fast it’s fun it’s durable and my son just loves it so I would recommend it for any parent wanting to get it for their kids.

A sliming laptop experience

The alienware x15 laptop is in my opinion the best looking windows gaming laptop to come out in recent years. The white slick design on the front makes it look more sophisticated and not like a gaming laptop at all. And the slim design tears away from the idea that all gaming laptops are "clunky". When i got this laptop i put it through a stress test to see what it could handle. For the CPU clock i did a "balanced" and "max" test. The balanced test wielded a conclusion of 3.0-3.7 GHz while the max wielded a result of 3.6-3.7 GHz maxed. While i was playing various games i also tested the temp to see how the fans worked and how hot it got. balanced it was 100c/73c and at maxed it got 100c/70c. As i suspected even though the laptop is equipped with a quad fan system the laptop got hot enough to burn my leg. So my recommendation to combat this is to get a fan system while you play or to leave your laptop in a place where it can "breathe" while you play games. moving on.. the quality of this laptop overall blew me away with the membrane keyboard and the RGB lighting system. Graphics wise everything looks amazing and all my games run smoothly. I played various games to test the durability and I never faced a problem other than i had to figure out why some games would play but others wouldn't. that was just a settings problem though. all and all I recommend this laptop to anyone who wants something sleek and beautiful

This is by far the best air filtration unit I’ve ever used and since it’s a Dyson you know it’s quality built.
Set up was really easy, unbox it and in about 5 minutes it’s up and running, 10 minutes if you add water for the humidifying feature.
The minute it powered on it began scrubbing the air and I guess my air needed cleaning cause the air quality index (AQI) went immediately yellow. In about 20 min the AQI was green and it’s been holding steady since. It’s really cool once I start cooking, the unit senses the AQI change and starts to cleaning the air, it’s really efficient too!!
I decided to try something too, I purposely scalded oil in one of my older pans and then held it behind the unit…sucked in that smokey nasty air and out came clean air plus hardly any smoke escaped into the room!!!
I have not noticed the unit cleaning any formaldehyde out of my house as of yet (can’t stare at this 24/7 hahaha) however based on performance I would not doubt in its ability to do so of it ever happened.
Comes with the usual features that’s to be expected; remote, 3 fan speeds, oscillation and timer.
Unit oozes quality and is well worth the investment!

I've spoken to the geek squad at my NorCal Best Buy and they say refurbished are few and far between and are usually gone within 24 hours. You really have to get lucky and be in the store when it hits.

Yes, however, if you keep it in an open area, away from direct sunlight and nothing obstructing the vents, it will be fine.

is there somekind of item that connects to your tv or gaming system (ps3) that prevents lagging, and keeps you from having trouble on getting online and not having to try repeatedly just to get online to play a game
If your having issues connecting, you need to dedicate the wireless router solely to the gaming system. At my house I have 1 computer and it's plugged in via ethernet cable and the PS3 which runs off the WiFi (Linksys "G" series router). If you run too many items off the WiFi, it's going to run slow. If you can't/won't do it, make sure all other items that are connected to the router are TURNED OFF, don't put them to "sleep", they must be turned of or disable the WiFi while your gaming. Only other option is to upgrade your router, but be careful, WiFi routers that can do this cost big $$$$.

PS3 Pros- Up to 250GB HD, Free Online gaming via PSN, BLURAY PLAYER, Netflix Compatible up to 1080p graphics/7.1 surround sound, no red ring of death, easily upgradable HD.
PS3 Cons- Price tag (up to $350 250 GB HD), still a brick weight wise, since online is free some issues with gaming.
XBOX Pros- Up to 150 GB HD, much cheaper, lighter system, up to 1080i 5.1 surround sound, Netflix compatible, easily upgradable HD, a lot easier to mod and upgrade and XBOX live is far superior for online gaming, however it costs up to $60/year depending on package
XBOX Cons- RED RING OF DEATH (sure it's replaced for free but no gaming for 15-30 days while it's getting repaired SUCKS!) Only plays DVD's.
What it really boils down to is what you are going to do with the system; If you are a hard core online shooter gamer, XBOX would be the way to go. what is a DNS error
im having trouble connecting my ps3 to the internet and it tells me that it is a DNS error. What is that?
If you are using wireless internet make sure that the PS3 is only system hooked up to it. If you are running multiple computers and gaming systems it can cause it to run slow and generate the error message. Only other way is to turn off (not standby) all other "systems" running. Hope this helps.
