I got these as a replacement for the headphones that came with my iPod that unfortunately got chewed up by a friend's puppy. At first, I was satisfied. They weren't the best, but they provided me with my music. I kept my iPod, including these headphones, in my purse during the day. As I pulled out my iPod one day, the speakers came out with it -- broken. One of the plastic covers that protects the inside (the gray part) came off, and the other headphone's magnet was attracted to it, so it smashed the inside of it, which was a thin plastic sheet that I assumed vibrated to actually make the music, provide the bass, etc. I put the cover back on, turned it on, and of course, that one ear didn't work. If you're going to use them lightly, like, they're going to sit on your shelf and you'll listen to your ipod occasionally while just relaxing, go on and buy them. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend them.
What's great about it: Cheap, meaning non-expensive.
What's not so great: Cheap, meaning poorly put together.
