OK here is my take on the game so far. To this point in time I have not completed the campaign. Have played in the squad and multiplayer modes.
The campaign segments, the ones I have played so far, seem a little short in duration compared with others in the franchise. Saying that they are enjoyable and fun to play.
As you may know the squad and multiplayer modes are a little different this time around. There is a bit of a learning curve to the new setup., like with everything else in the game you will get the hang of it over time.
Others have complained about the size of some of the maps, personally I like big maps. You are able to roam and enjoy the game play. If your are a sniper I see no problem with you taking pop shots at the other team. That is the point to this type of map, outflank etc. the other team, think before you move and use the terrain as your friend. You just don't run around screaming like an idiot ( I know some do).
With the new squad setup it's always a balance of spending the points over what you need, in other words you have to watch what you pay for. There are advantages of outfitting just one or two members of your squad with the best of everything, but there is that trade off. You may have one or two members of your squad who are "strong" while the rest of the squad are "weak". You have to balance things out. That is were think before you buy pays off.
In the end just play the game, have fun and enjoy it for what it is - A GAME.

Nice game overall but a little short in playing time in single player.
I would recommend you resist getting the "stimulus package" yet as there seem to be issues, as I found out to my cost by not reading the on line reviews before buying.
The look and feel of the game is good and overall it's entertaining. The only drawback I have found so far is not with the game its self but with all the gutter mouth trash talk on multi-player. Sounds like it's full of 10 year olds who like to call everyone by the "N" word. At least you can mute them.
Do you know what is your 10 year old is doing on xbox live ?
That aside, I would recommend the game.
What's great about it: Better looking than the previous version.
What's not so great: A little short in the game play department in single player.

First off, this is one heck of a game. I normally play FPS but I thought I would give this one a go. This game draws you into the world and the game play is very good. Just as in real life, in the game, you can make choices and they have consequences.
What's great about it: The whole thing.
What's not so great: Nothing.

Ok I have just re-discovered this gem of a game, I had originally played this game quite some time back, but I then moved onto other FPS games. The cut scenes are a hoot. It's still a very playable game compared to the likes of Fuel of War etc. The multi-player side of the game is a joy to play again.
What's great about it: The game overall is very good.
What's not so great: Multi-player maps can be a little limiting in play.

Game a hit

As other people have said the single player game is over a little quickly. The on line games are ok. It would be a nice touch if you could talk to other players who are in a chopper etc.
What's not so great: Online a little limited

how to stand your 360?

hey i just bought my son a 360 and i want to know which is better standing the 360 vertical or horizontal? why?
If you stand it horizontal you should get the best possible airflow in and around the unit so less problems with over heating. Also it's easer to insert the DVD.
