Better!...but Still Dissappointing.

First off, I must admit that this second installment is several times better than the original motion picture release. Even still, I found it dissappointing as a Hulk fan.
Anyone who has ever watched the original Stan Lee animated cartoon of the Hulk knows that the Hulk was extremely expressive, and talked NONSTOP trash. Not sure how or when he suddenly became a mute, but I do not appreciate what has become more of a King Kong and/or Beauty and the Beast type of character. He literally said 6 words the entire movie and never more than 3 at a time.
Perhaps the biggest stab in the backs of the fans is that his monster enemy in the film (Abomination) can express himself and talks all movie long (almost as much as an original fan would expect the Hulk to). Meanwhile, the Hulk just sits there with no verbal retaliation as if a confused, mentally impaired dog. The Hulk should at least be at equal par with Abomination -having had longer experience going through these transformations and all. Somehow the new beast comes out of nowhere and instantly is more controlled and comfortable being a super being.
Now that I'm done venting about that, the movie itself is indeed worth seeing. As a stand alone movie it will entertain you, keep your attention, and dazzle you with animated cinematography and special effects. The plot itself is lacking but it's hard to explain without given too much away. Suffice to say that the plot fell apart at points, left holes, and found a way to make a story which everyone walks in knowing and accepting is an unrealistic concept, somehow feel even less realistic.
Conclusion:
Non Hulk fans can sit through it without wanting 2 hours of their life back.
Hulk fans will enjoy it but end feeling empty.
What's great about it: Graphics, Special Effects, Audio and Animation of Hulk
What's not so great: Story and the Abandonment of Hulk's Original Personality
I would recommend this to a friend!
