I love buying a computer that: 1. Will perform as good on the 1st day, as it will on the 2093rd (my iMac) 2. I do not need to replace/repair every year or so 3. I am not asking why it's (already) running slow 4. Syncs with all of my other Mac devices
For this, I execute no 'special' maintenance. It's Apple's commitment to performance (and style) that keeps their devices above all other manufacturers. Unlike Windows Computers (PCs), Apple does not allow 3rd Party designers access to the core/code in their operating system (OS). By losing control over the quality of 'edits' done to the OS, PCs suffer, where Macs do not. This is only one of the reasons why my new MacBook Air runs well today, and will run great in the future!!!

The program teaches by telling you, you got something wrong. ((( Learn as many words in your language of choice, or you may be lost. Better yet? Find something different ))) The company DOES NOT ANSWER DIRECT QUESTIONS.
I had online chat with them and continued to ask this: ME: Can I use it online? Rosetta Stone: All programs come with proven resources. Me: What resources? Rosetta Stone: They added more resources for iDevices. Me: What resources? RS: All will be available to new users.
I should have asked, how much and how long will I pay to use this program we're paying $300 +/- for?
Best Buy? I received it in 3 days, everything you received from Rosetta Stone arrived at my home in perfect working order!
A surprised consumer, Riah

With a decent learning method, dealing with this company has been horrible. Tho I gotta say this: If I would have purchased it w/o ever speaking with someone at Rosetta Stone (RS), I would never have witnessed their EMPLOYEES avoiding the truth, when answering 4 or 5 different questions ((( that I have saved, from an online chat before I purchased this from Best Buy ))) ...and the software is not that bad, so why hide simple truths (?)

I got a GREAT label printer from Brother (P-Touch), easy to use until I try to separate the 'Printed' part of the label, from the Backing. Not even my GF could separate the two ...and she has finger nails. Took a few day to figure out a trick to separate these a little quicker
What's great about it: Clear Print-Out, Good length of tape, easy to read
What's not so great: Seperating Printout from Backing

Primary reason for building/modifying PC:Multimedia (music, movies, photos)
Its the Perfect device if you have a PC crash and you don't want to replace it w/ another Desktop. I had an old 12y/o DAW (Music PC) that needed to be upgraded and, instead of going back to a Windows Desktop, I switched to Apple for superior performance (and was considering a Laptop i/o the iMac anyway). I had a 1TB HDD in the old Desktop and didn't wanna burn a ton of DVDs, take the time to transfer via Flash Drive or spend $100 more on an Ext. HDD. So, I got this Enclosure Kit, Transfered everything in less than a 1/2 hour and I now have a 1TB Ext. HDD. Beautiful!
What's great about it: Fast Data Transfer, Price, Housing, Can be used as External HDD

I remember being like ...4 or 5 n watching this on Queens Blvd., loving it, but being upset because everyone started laughing when Spiccolli said "AWESOME!" so no one heard "...Totally Awesome"

I dont trust anyone other than APC - GREAT Support

I've been a Techo-Geek since the iNet was born. Before it went "Pop- Culture". I discovered the need for some type of Surge/Power Loss protection around '92-'93. I got lucky and started w/ an APC, heard horror stories after friends/clients that tried other Brands. Survived about 500+/- Florida Power Outages and Surges when power was restored and unprotected office TVs or PC Monitors were ruined. Everything protected with an APC UPS always survived.
Last MAJOR investment was on an iMac DAW. With that, and supporting Outboard Hardware, I refused to Plug it in until I picked up 2 APC ES-750s. It was a good choice. Power was lost for about 3 hours and when it came back on, all of the communities street lights went POP!
Thank you APC! I won't plug in without you! -cMorr
What's great about it: Great Equiptment, Great Prices, Great Support and always reliable!
What's not so great: Life in the 21st Century without them

Happy with first Apple computer
ByBrianL
I have used Microsoft/Windows-based computers since the first PC using DOS. Sp the change to a Mac has taken 30 years. While the change in operating systems was a little frustrating at first, I have acclimated and am very pleased. The computer has a nice keyboard (my first backlit keyboard0, the display is very nice, the programs are responsive and startup is very fast compared to my Windows experience, plus the MacBook is light and compact. I have found that many USB devices I used with other computers work well with the Mac -- I use a USB SD card reader (the Mac has no SD slot), am typing this using a USB to ethernet adapter (my wifi works great too, just testing the adapter today), bought a 1 TB external USB HDD that I use for backups (using a third party backup-disk image software) and storage. I have several programs that I use on the Mac that I used on Windows, such as Photoshop Elements and LibreOffice. Setting up my HP printer took a little effort as I muddled until I downloaded installation software from HP. So although I expected more pain in moving to the Mac, it has been worth the effort. Over the last 30 days I rarely use my Windows laptop.
