I have always use surge protectors for all my electronics, but recently my Power company has been having contestant short power outages, never lasting more than a few seconds, but enough to obviously reboot my computer and has recently caused several HDD corruption issues..
I finally got sick of it and invested in a UPS.. I wasn't sure how many VA's I would need but I wanted it to run for at least 10 minutes with out power.
This unit powers my Quad Core desktop, 32" LCD TV/Monitor, All-In-One Printer and several USB peripherals plugged in to the computer for ~60 minutes.
I love that it also "cleans" the power as it comes in, so if the power sags or spikes it filters that out before going to anything plugged into the device. It also communicates with software on the computer via USB and can shut the computer down when the battery is getting low. This is a wonderful feature as If you are not home and have a massive power outage, it will take care of it for you.
It's money well spent, data recovery is VERY expensive and protecting your electronics from power issues is the best way to prevent data corruption on your computer.

Best Speakers On The market!

I have Klipsch Home Theater speakers and these Computer Speakers are every bit as good sounding. Of course they are only going to sound as good as the source supplying them, so If you have a cheap sound card and a low quality MP3, don't expect the speakers to perform miracles!
My ONLY real complaint with these speakers, is that there is very little volume control between "Can't Hear It!" & "Wake The Neighbors!". They get VERY loud even on the lower volume settings.. That's easily fixable by using your computer's volume in conjunction.
Overall, the BEST computer speakers on the market!

What's not so great: There's Not Much Volume Controll Between "Can't Hear It" & "Wake The Neighbors!"

It's Ink! It Prints! The only bad thing really is that it doesn't seem to last very long, however it's a lot cheaper that other brands of ink, so it works out.
