Ok everybody is so caught up w/ gears of war but resistance 2 is the game for PS3. The first edition had no sprint but that changed now. Also the addition of coop makes it fun to link up w/ friends and not try to kill them. Its just fun to have a change of target. Plus who doesn't want to know how the story of Nathan Hale ends? The story line is both interesting and lengthy making sure the game isn't beat in 2 hours. Different monsters are addded to the chimeran infantry. There are also new guns that extend the depth of what the player is able to do.
SynopsisBehind the bright lights of Sin City lies a deadly terrorist threat. Return as a member of the elite Rainbow Six squad and end the siege for good. This time you're up against new Artificial Intelligence characters armed with thermal vision, night vision and shields. Fortunately, you have a collection of updated weapons just as lethal. Smaller maps put you in closer proximity with the enemy for more intense face-offs than ever. Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 also features two new adversarial modes, added rewards and an improved matchmaking system. Leave the gambling for the casinos and don't take chances with the lives of your fellow Americans. Watch the environment change from dusk to dawn and fight through both days and nights. Make your way through new Vegas hot spots upon 11 new multiplayer maps. Updated customization options let you create a character that stays the same in single-player or multiplayer action. In the innovative new Co-op mode, bring a friend in on the action at any time without impacting the story. Select wisely from your arsenal of 11 new weapons, but beware ~ sometimes they won't be enough. That's when you'll need to rely on the intel of thermal scanning and the tactical advantages of leapfrogging. Are you tough enough to see this battle through to the end?

Proud owner of COD 4, i knew nothing coud compare so I rented RSV2. Shortly after returning RS back, I continued with my COD usage. I found myself almost feeling like I missed RS, wanting to direct my team and lean into cover. Then I realized RS doesn't compare to COD because, listen, tehy are totally, totally different. Run and gun all you want in COD, thats fine, I love it too, but I genually missed the tactics. Thats all RSV(1,2) is. I now own both! Yes, the online could use improvement, but here is what i did... Use a wire! All of us who connect our fancy wireless PS3's seem to have forgotten that a wire works waay better than wireless. Now that I'm wired I can focus on the quality of the tactics, rewards and sop comparing apples to oranges.
What's great about it: Single player, coop, rewards, terrorist hunt
What's not so great: laggy if connecting wirelessly
